WWW Wednesday is a weekly MEME hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Simply answer the following questions. 🙂

The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

*All books linked to Goodreads below.

Hey!

It’s been almost a month since I’ve done one of these reading updates! I was in a pretty bad reading slump in February, so that’s why I wasn’t really doing any WWW posts took me WEEKS to finish a single book. I’m still having a pretty slow start this month with reading, but that’s okay. Here is what I’ve been reading this month and what I hope to read next.

Currently Reading:

infinityson

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera

I am currently reading Infinity Son and honestly, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. A lot of things I felt weren’t really explained at the beginning and had me feeling so confused as to why things and people exist in the world. It’s set in NYC, but there are non-humans in the story and I just couldn’t figure out why and how it came to be. I’m honestly still unsure. I don’t know if I missed something when I was reading or if it was never mentioned, I have no idea! I’m halfway through it and want to try to finish it today or tomorrow.

Recently Finished:

starryeyes

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

I finally read Starry Eyes! I’ve been wanting to read this book for two years now and it finally happened. I really liked it and had so much fun reading it. It was cute and I really liked the main characters a lot. I was hoping it would be a five star read, but sadly it wasn’t. I gave it four stars though and that’s pretty awesome!

Reading Next:

wildatheartlittleuniverses

Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker
Little Universes by Heather Demetrios (ARC 4/7/2020)

I’m not entirely sure on this one, because I did get some library books that I’ve been on hold for checked out to me. If I don’t go for one of the library books, then probably one of these books will be next and I’m so excited to read them. I am trying to stick with my March TBR as much as possible. I’ll post a link to my March TBR at the end of this post in case you want to check it out.

What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Feel free to link me to your posts, so I can check them out!

In case you missed it;
Stuck…where do I go from here?

I hope you have a great day!

  1. Oooh I recently bought Starry Eyes, but haven’t read it yet. I’m glad you liked it! It just makes me want to read the book right now. Your next reads sounds pretty good too, can’t wait to hear what you thought about them! 🙂

  2. You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way about Infinity Son! I think the world-building is the biggest complaint I’ve seen about the book in reviews, and I struggled with it, too, while reading it. I loved the superhero thing, though. I’m a sucker for books like that. I hope you end up enjoying it! Happy reading.

    Here’s my WWW post.

      • I’m not gonna lie, the ending kind of frustrated me? But I think I’m very alone in that. xD I’ve seen people raving about the ending, so … I’ll just be over here on my little island of unpopular opinions haha. So I don’t think you’re missing a lot by not finishing it, personally, but I think others would disagree.

  3. Ahhh Ashley I’m so, so happy you liked starry eyes, even if it didn’t end up being a five stars. it was such a good read overall, I love Jenn Bennett’s work so much 🙂
I’m eager to hear what you think of Little Universes, this book sounds really good! 🙂

  4. Oh boy, you’ve definitely made me even more curious about how I would react to Infinity Son myself! Have a wonderful week and happy reading. xx

  5. I’m sorry you’ve been in a reading slump lately. I hope it’ll go away soon! I’ve personally been in a blogging slump, mostly due to little time but also just finding the energy to focus. I guess we all get these slumps sometimes. I’m glad you enjoyed Starry Eyes, enjoying what you read is way more important than how many books you’re reading! Have a great week 🙂

Here’s my WWW posted on Friday. Better late than never! :p
