WWW Wednesday is a weekly MEME hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Simply answer the following questions. 🙂
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
*All books linked to Goodreads below.
It’s been almost a month since I’ve done one of these reading updates! I was in a pretty bad reading slump in February, so that’s why I wasn’t really doing any WWW posts took me WEEKS to finish a single book. I’m still having a pretty slow start this month with reading, but that’s okay. Here is what I’ve been reading this month and what I hope to read next.
Infinity Son by Adam Silvera
I am currently reading Infinity Son and honestly, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. A lot of things I felt weren’t really explained at the beginning and had me feeling so confused as to why things and people exist in the world. It’s set in NYC, but there are non-humans in the story and I just couldn’t figure out why and how it came to be. I’m honestly still unsure. I don’t know if I missed something when I was reading or if it was never mentioned, I have no idea! I’m halfway through it and want to try to finish it today or tomorrow.
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
I finally read Starry Eyes! I’ve been wanting to read this book for two years now and it finally happened. I really liked it and had so much fun reading it. It was cute and I really liked the main characters a lot. I was hoping it would be a five star read, but sadly it wasn’t. I gave it four stars though and that’s pretty awesome!
Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker
Little Universes by Heather Demetrios (ARC 4/7/2020)
I’m not entirely sure on this one, because I did get some library books that I’ve been on hold for checked out to me. If I don’t go for one of the library books, then probably one of these books will be next and I’m so excited to read them. I am trying to stick with my March TBR as much as possible. I’ll post a link to my March TBR at the end of this post in case you want to check it out.
What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Feel free to link me to your posts, so I can check them out!
In case you missed it;
Stuck…where do I go from here?

Starry Eyes is one of those books that have been recommended to me hundred of times, I really need to read it! 😍 I’m glad you enjoyed it and I hope you enjoy your next readings as well ❤️✨
I hope you read Starry Eyes soon! It was so good and definitely worth the hype. Thank you! ❤
Oooh I recently bought Starry Eyes, but haven’t read it yet. I’m glad you liked it! It just makes me want to read the book right now. Your next reads sounds pretty good too, can’t wait to hear what you thought about them! 🙂
I hope you get the chance to read Starry Eyes soon! 🙂 Thanks!
Wild at heart looks like a great read.
Ooh, Starry Eyes was such a cute read! I truly need to read more of Bennett’s books. Pretty sure I still own some I haven’t read yet.. Should totally check and push them up the TBR, haha. 😀
I need to read more from Bennett as well! I have a few other books of hers that I still haven’t read yet. I hope we both read them soon. 🙂
I am so happy you enjoyed Starry Eyes! I loved that one. I need to read Wild at Heart, too.
Happy to hear that you loved Starry Eyes! It was so good. I hope we both get to read Wild at Heart soon.
You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way about Infinity Son! I think the world-building is the biggest complaint I’ve seen about the book in reviews, and I struggled with it, too, while reading it. I loved the superhero thing, though. I’m a sucker for books like that. I hope you end up enjoying it! Happy reading.
Here’s my WWW post.
I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling this way about Infinity Son. I really wish I could love it, but I’m having so much trouble even wanting to finish it. Some of it is good, but most of it, not so much.
I’m not gonna lie, the ending kind of frustrated me? But I think I’m very alone in that. xD I’ve seen people raving about the ending, so … I’ll just be over here on my little island of unpopular opinions haha. So I don’t think you’re missing a lot by not finishing it, personally, but I think others would disagree.
I am so glad you have re-emerged from your reading slump! I had a mini one in February and I am still dealing with a writing / review slump. I’d like to blame the weather but it is probably more my re-discovery of 30 Rock. Ah well!

Thanks! 🙂 Reading slumps are the worst. I hope you get out of the writing/review slump ASAP!
I’ve been noticing wild at Heart. Enjoy whatever you read next. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 🙂
Ahhh Ashley I’m so, so happy you liked starry eyes, even if it didn’t end up being a five stars. it was such a good read overall, I love Jenn Bennett’s work so much 🙂
I’m eager to hear what you think of Little Universes, this book sounds really good! 🙂
Even though Starry Eyes wasn’t a five star read for me, I still really liked it and glad I finally read it. I need to read all of Jenn Bennett’s books! 🙂 I can’t wait to read Little Universes. Hopefully soon and I can get my review up. ❤
Oh boy, you’ve definitely made me even more curious about how I would react to Infinity Son myself! Have a wonderful week and happy reading. xx
I’m so sad that I’m not loving Infinity Son. I have about 30% left and I’m having so much trouble wanting to even finish it. 😦
Oh boy that does sound bad! Such a shame…
Awesome blog!Just subscribed 💋💋💋
I’m sorry you’ve been in a reading slump lately. I hope it’ll go away soon! I’ve personally been in a blogging slump, mostly due to little time but also just finding the energy to focus. I guess we all get these slumps sometimes. I’m glad you enjoyed Starry Eyes, enjoying what you read is way more important than how many books you’re reading! Have a great week 🙂
Here’s my WWW posted on Friday. Better late than never! :p
