Books On My Spring 2021 TBR.
Hey!
I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I last did a Top Ten Tuesday list! I thought I would participate this week, because while I am super bad at sticking to TBRs, I do have some priority books that I want to get to as soon as possible! I’ve been trying to get to those first before anything else and these are the ones that I have left on my priority list. I am calling this my Spring TBR since I am prioritizing these books and plan (maybe hope is a better word :P) to read them within the next few months. If you’ve been reading my blog this year, then you’d know that this year I am trying to focus more on older books that I’ve had on my shelf for a while and the ARCs I never got around to reading last year. So, that is where most of this Spring TBR is coming from. Five books on this list are ARCs, two are from my old TBR jar (each month I am trying to read one book that I pick from my old TBR jar), and the others are books that I’ve really wanted to read and series I’ve wanted to finish. So, without further ado, here is my Spring TBR!
The Mask Falling by Samantha Shannon
Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jay Robin Brown (March TBR jar pick)
Chaos on Catnet by Naomi Kritzer (ARC)
When Villains Rise by Rebecca Schaeffer (ARC)
Love Is for Losers by Wibke Brueggemann (ARC)
Where Dreams Descend by Janelle Angeles (ARC)
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (ARC)
Night of the Dragon by Julie Kagawa
The Toll by Neal Shusterman
The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler (April TBR jar pick)
What books are on your Spring TBR? Have you read any of the ones on my list? Feel free to link me to your post, so I can check it out! 🙂
I am going to do some blog hopping this week to catch up with you and reply to comments. I haven’t really been around too much since I am going through this reading slump. I’ve also been addicted to watching baking competition shows on Discovery+ ever since getting into this reading slump. So, I spend a lot of my time doing that when I get off work. I am hoping to get out of this slump soon…..fingers crossed! I had such a great reading month in February, so I am bummed that the first half of March isn’t going so well for me with that! Hopefully the second half of the month will be better. We shall see!

I hope you have a great day!
I really liked Where Dreams Descend, and I’m anxious for the second book. The Toll has been on my TBR since it was released – can’t believe I haven’t gotten to it yet!
Glad to hear that you really liked Where Dreams Descend! I’m hoping I can read it this month, it sounds really good. Hopefully we both get around to read The Toll soon. 🙂
I like the sound of Love is for Losers.
Me too! 🙂
Welcome back. My blogging has been so patchy over the past year, but TTT is a good way to reconnect. I really liked the French setting of The Mask Falling but it was emotionally hard! I really liked the whole Scythe trilogy too.
Thanks! My blogging has been pretty patchy over the last couple years too. I do love TTT and I really should start doing it more often. I’m currently reading The Mask Falling now and so far I am really liking it. I’m scared though hahah. 😛 So far the Scythe trilogy has been so good and I can’t wait to finally read third book.
Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! I’ve heard a lot of good things about The Toll.

Thanks! I’ve also heard a lot of good things about The Toll too. I can’t wait to finally read it.
I like the idea of a TBR jar! I read the first CatNet book last year, and I’m looking forward to reading the sequel. I hope you enjoy it!

It’s nice having the TBR jar, especially when I don’t know what to read next. I am really looking forward to reading the sequel of the first Catnet book too. I had a lot of fun reading the first book. Hoping to find time this month to read it.
The first CatNet book was a lot of fun, hopefully the sequel will be fun too!
The Summer of Chasing Mermaids was a book I think I had in the depths of my Kindle. I don’t remember if I kept it, or passed on it. I hope you love it!
Oh nice! I’ve had The Summer of Chasing Mermaids on my bookshelf for so long now. Probably at least five years? Haha.
Welcome back to TTT! I’m sorry to hear you’re in a reading slump. That doesn’t ever happen to me, so I don’t have any advice for getting out of it 😦 I hope your reading mojo comes back, though.
I’ve read WHERE DREAMS DESCEND, but I didn’t love it. It seemed to go on and on and on without really going anywhere. I got impatient with it, although I did push through and finish it. I hope you enjoy it more than I did.
Happy TTT!

You’re so lucky that you never get into reading slumps! So jealous, haha. Hopefully I’ll get out of it soon, because there are so many books I want to read.
That’s such a bummer about Where Dreams Descend! I’m going to listen to the audiobook, so maybe I’ll like it better that way.
Where Dreams Descend was on my list this week too! I’ve been reading The Mask Falling but my e-ARC from Netgalley just expired. I have the hardback, but I don’t know when I’m going to get back into it as I only read one physical book at a time.

How do you read your eARCs from Netgalley? Just wondering, because I send them to my Kindle/Kindle app on my phone and they never expire. Hopefully you can get back into The Mask Falling soon!
I only have Kindle on my laptop, I don’t have a Kindle or the Kindle app so I can’t send my eARCs to Kindle. Instead I download them on Adobe Reader and they expire after 55 days. I have the hardback of The Mask Falling so I’ll be able to finish it, it’s just a question of when.
I’m really looking forward to Chaos on CatNet. It’s going to be great. Thanks for sharing and happy reading!

I can’t wait to read Chaos on CatNet! I think it’s going to be great too. 🙂
I really loved all the Scythe books! Thunderhead was my favourite but The Toll is very good too and wraps the series up nicely. I hope you’ll enjoy all your reads!
Happy to hear that you loved all the Scythe books! The first book Scythe was my favorite so far. I can’t wait to finally read The Toll.
I’m very excited about One Last Stop!
