Hey!
I can’t believe it’s December 1st! I can’t believe 2020 is almost over. Such a weird year, but so happy to say goodbye to it soon lol. As for November though, I didn’t really have a great month as far as reading goes. I was only able to read two books, which was such a bummer. I just wasn’t in the mood to read or listen to audiobooks. I was hoping to get a few ARCs read and reviewed, but that obviously didn’t happen. π¦ I was able to read two books though, so at least I read something! Something is better than nothing, I think. You can find a full list of the books that I read this month and the other books I read throughout the year over here. All will be linked to Goodreads below and I will also link to individual blog posts for them if I did a review. Here is what I read and what I’m still currently reading…
Physically Read Books:
These are the books that I read myself (not audiobooks) throughout the month of November.
Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar – 4 out of 5 stars
Pretending by Holly Bourne – 3 out of 5 stars β Review
I loved reading Sideways Stories from Wayside School as a kid, so I decided to read it again as an adult. Still loved it so much as an adult as I did when I was a kid. There’s actually four books in this series and I’ve only ever read the first two, so I am hoping to read the other books as well. I was part of the blog tour for Pretending, so I read that and reviewed it (linked above). Overall, I thought it was a good book. I didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would have, but it was still pretty good. Just not completely what I expected. It’s a lot more on the serious side than I was expecting. It’s super important though.
Currently Reading Books:
These are the books that I started to read in the month of November, but didnβt get a chance to finish them yet.
Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams
Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer
I started to listen to the audiobook of Crazy Stupid Bromance, but didn’t get around to finishing it. So far I really like it and hope to finish it soon. I also started reading Instant Karma. I got a few chapters in, but haven’t had the chance to read more of it. I got the audiobook from my library, so I may just end up listening to it instead. I will hopefully have a review for Instant Karma posted in December.
What books did you read in November? Have you read any of the books that I read? Feel free to link me to your wrap up post, so I can check it out!
I am only four books away from completing my Goodreads challenge, so I really hope that this is a better reading month for me. Fingers crossed! I think in my November wrap up I included some of our Christmas decorations after we put up our tree. Well, I was able to get the stockings hung and also the Christmas tree now has our ornaments! So I figured I would share new pictures of that. Below is a a couple pictures so you can see what it looks like during the daylight and at night. π I am super happy with it! Just waiting for some new furniture (hopefully next Friday) and I think that room will be complete.
October decided to walk through while I was taking a picture in the night one. π I love how all the lights reflect onto the wall. It just makes everything more colorful! Our star at the top of the tree also changes colors, which I love too. Anyway, I think that’s all for this post. I hope to catch up with your entries and reply to comments soon. I’ll probably start tonight and continue tomorrow if I don’t get to them all. β€

YAY! DId you know THE RUSSIAN’s book is next?
Ooooh yay! Thatβll be good.
Add me to the two-book November club. I didn’t even realized I read so little, but I survived November, so that’s what’s important. Wishing you lots of luck completing your Goodreads challenge.
Thank you! π Surviving is definitely what was most important. I hope you had a great new year.
I love your Christmas decoration! And I will be looking forward to your thoughts on Instant Karma. Happy reading! xx
