I thought it would be fun to do blog posts showing the books that I read throughout the year and what I rated them. This list is my two star reads. This is the last post of this little mini series, because I didn’t have any one star books in 2019. They are in the order that I read them. Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli (audiobook)
Miracle Creek by Angie Kim (audiobook)
I had so much high expectations for these books and I wanted to love them so much, but they ended up being just okay to me. I had way too many issues with them or I found them to be mostly boring. I’m sad that I didn’t love Leah. 😦
I was a bit disappointed by Leah as well! Especially since I loved Simon that much… Yay for not having any 1 star read in 2019 though!
I’m sad I didn’t love Leah because I loved Simon so much. But I guess in a way I kind of figured because I didn’t like Leah as a character in Simon. No one stars is great though! 🙂
I love these posts! We always tend to talk a lot about the 5star reads and the other books don’t get enough attention.
I didn’t like Miracle Creek either. I don’t really remember if I gave it 2 or 3 stars, but it wasn’t an enjoyable read.

I agree! It was fun looking back on all my other star ratings from the year. I’m glad I’m not the only one that didn’t like Miracle Creek. I feel like so many people liked it and I just couldn’t get into it at all. It bored me.
