Hey!
I am just going to jump right into my June book haul. You can check out a full list of the books that I own over here. There’s links to different pages on my blog that show my e-books and one for my physical books. I last updated the pages in April. Hoping to finally get around to updating those pages in July. All book titles below are linked to Goodreads.
Books I Bought:

The Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black
Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
Cinder & the Prince of Midnight by Susan Ee
These are the physical books that I bought myself this month. The Modern Faerie Tales is a series that Holly Black started to write in 2004 and that I’ve been really wanting to read. In this copy that I have it’s all three books in one! I don’t own the series, but when I seen this version I had to get it. Soul of the Sword was of course a must, because Shadow of the Fox was AMAZING. I seen Red, White & Royal Blue everywhere and I was tired of waiting for my library hold to come in so I bought a copy myself. It did not disappoint! I loved it. And of course I had to get Susan Ee’s new book because I loved her Penryn & the End of Days (Angelfall) series so much. Cinder & the Prince of Midnight doesn’t have the greatest reviews now and I think it’s only a 3.10 rating, which is sad! I still want to read it and hope I like it. I kind of wish I would have gone with buying the e-book instead of the physical copy.
Books from Publishers:
There Will Come A Darkness by Katy Rose Pool
The Art of Breaking Things by Laura Sibson
I received a copy of There Will Come A Darkness from Fierce Reads and I was so excited to open my mail and see it there. I can’t wait to read it and the book cover is amazing! My mom brought me a package that got delivered to her house and it was a finished copy of The Art of Breaking Things that Penguin sent me. I am hoping to read it soon, so I can get a review up since it’s already released now.
Netgalley:
Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa
Swipe Right for Murder by Derek Milman
I was approved for Soul of the Sword (which as you can see I own my own copy) a week before release day, which was really exciting. Sadly I didn’t get to start it until after though, but my review should hopefully be coming soon. I was really excited to get approved for Swipe Right for Murder. It sounds so good and I can’t wait to read it.
E-Books:
Once & Future by Cori McCarthy, Amy Rose
False Step by Victoria Helen Stone
Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde
We Set the Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia
Heroine by Mindy McGinnis
I’ve been forever waiting for Once & Future to go on sale and I am so happy it finally did. I already own a physical copy of Heroine, but I feel like I can get through e-books faster and lately I’ve been wanting to read more e-books versus physical. So I decided to buy the e-book anyway since it was only $2.99. I am really excited for the others! I love an e-book deal.
What new books did you get in June? Have you read any of the ones that I got? Feel free to link me to your haul post, so I can check it out!
I am currently working on my mid-year freak out book tag of the books that I read throughout the first half of the year. I am also working on getting my picture update post done as well. Hopefully those will be coming soon!
Here’s a picture of one of my cats; ColbyJack.
