wwwwednesdayflower

WWW Wednesday is a weekly MEME hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Simply answer the following questions. 🙂

The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

*All books linked to Goodreads below.

Hey!

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve last done this type of post. I usually just do them in the beginning of the month since my wrap up post usually follows at the end. Anyway, I don’t really have a whole lot to say, so I am just going to get right into the books that I have been reading and what I hope to read next.

Currently Reading:

summerof69thebrokengirls

Summer of ’69 by Todd Strasser (Netgalley)
The Broken Girls by Simone St. James

I am currently reading Summer of ’69 and listening to the audiobook of The Broken Girls. So far I am pretty into Summer of ’69. I love all the hippie vibes and everything. It is kind of a slow start though, so I am hoping it picks up more soon. I am almost finished with The Broken Girls. I’ll probably have it finished today. I only have a couple hours left on the audiobook. It’s an interesting story, but I do find myself getting pretty bored at times. I do like it though and can’t wait to see how it ends.

Recently Finished:

heartstopper

Heartstopper Vol 1 by Alice Oseman

I have been impatiently waiting for my copy of Heartstopper to come in from Book Depository and it finally did the other day. I read it that day, because I couldn’t resist. It’s a graphic novel, so it was a quick read. It was such a great story too. I loved it. I also found out at the end of the story that it’s about characters from another one of Alice Oseman’s books (Solitaire), so I plan to read that one ASAP! I also really can’t wait for volume two of Heartstopper. It gets released later this year. I am just including what I recently finished this month (April) since I just did my wrap up post. You can check out some of my other recently finished books in my March wrap up linked at the end of this post.

Reading Next:

cherrytellmelieswerulethenight

Cherry by Nico Walker (Library)
Tell Me Lies by Carola Lovering (Library)
We Rule the Night by Claire Eliza Bartlett (Physical ARC)

I honestly have no idea what I am going to read next. I always say I am going to read one thing and end up reading something else. I’ve been a really big mood reader this year. I have three options that I am really leaning toward because 1. they are library books that I need to read before they get returned or 2. they are ARCs that I really need to read and get reviewed ASAP. It could be any of these books that I read next, but I am leaning heavily on Cherry, because I read the first 10 or so pages and I was really into it. I had to stop myself though, because 1. it was like 3:30am when I couldn’t fall back to sleep and I needed to try to sleep and 2. I need to finish my current read first, haha. I also need to read Tell Me Lies soonish before it gets returned to the library. We Rule the Night was just released yesterday, so I want to read that one soon too because I need to get a review up for it. So many books to read!!

What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Feel free to link me to your posts, so I can check them out!

I hope you have a great day!

    • Even with there being some boring parts to The Broken Girls, it was still a good read and I’m happy I read it. We Rule the Night looks and sounds great. Can’t wait to read it! Happy to see if go onto to your TBR even though I’m sure there are plenty already on there. 😛
