Hey!
I know I’ve been a little quiet around the blog the last week or two. I’ve been pretty busy with work and I’ve had family coming to visit quite a bit this month. I also got addicted to the shows Schitt’s Creek (on Netflix) and Pen15 (on Hulu), so I have been binge watching every season. I finished them all in just a week and a half. Schitt’s Creek is seriously everything. I am dying for Netflix to add season five. And now, I am sick, UGHH. Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things soon. With being busy and sick, I’ve been in kind of a blogging slump. I do have my March book haul to share with you today though, so that’s exciting! 🙂
Books I Bought:
*from bookstores, amazon, etc.*

You Asked for Perfect by Laura Silverman
Heroine by Mindy McGinnis
Tales of King Arthur & The Knights of the Round Table by Thomas Malory
All Things Bright and Strange by James Markert
I seen You Asked For Perfect around a lot, so I wanted to check it out and decided to order on Amazon. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. I pre-ordered Heroine last year I think. It’s one of my highly anticipated releases of the year. I picked up the King Arthur stories at Books-A-Million as a birthday gift to myself. We went to this outlet store that sells a ton of different things and they happened to sell books! So I picked up All Things Bright and Strange from there, because it sounded really interesting and it was only $1.99!
Books from Publishers:
If It Makes You Happy by Claire Kann
Wilder Girls by Rory Power (Netgalley)
I was sent a copy of If It Makes You Happy from Swoon Reads, which I am stoked to read. It sounds really good, so I am looking forward to it. I was also approved for Wilder Girls on Netgalley and I am so stoked!
E-Books:
Hope Nation by Various Authors
The Wicker King by K. Ancrum
Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
I’m Fine and Neither Are You by Camille Pagan
An Unquiet Mind by Kay Redfield Jamison
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
The Map by William Ritter (Jackaby novella)
Quite a few books that I’ve been really wanting went on sale this month, so I picked up those. I can’t wait to read all of these. Hopefully it doesn’t take me forever to get around to them. LOL 😛
What books did you get in March? Have you read any of the books that I got? Feel free to link me to your book haul posts.
As I mentioned before, hopefully I can get back into the swing of things on the blog ASAP as well as reading. I read a good amount this month (wrap up coming soon), but I feel like I could have read more if I didn’t get kind of slumpish and wasn’t so busy. I need to catch up on so much!! *looks at ARC pile* I just hope I’m not sick forever. I’ve been taking cold medicine and Zicam regularly. It says every 3-4 hours, so as soon as that final hour ends, I am taking more. LOL. I’ll catch up with you guys ASAP! ❤
In case you missed it;

I hope you have a great day!
What a great haul! I bought 99 Percent Mine, too. I need to hurry up and get to reading it!
Thanks! Hopefully we both enjoy 99 Percent Mine.
Oh no, I’m sorry you’re sick at the moment – sending you all of the healing vibes. Everyone I know has been sick recently and I’ve (somehow) managed not to catch anything yet… I’m sorry you didn’t love You asked for perfect that much, I’d love to hear what you thought of it though?
This month has honestly felt like such a blur, I’m trying to remember what even happened let alone what books I got haha… I got The Well of Loneliness, Heartstopper Vol 1, Stone Butch Blues and ARC wise I got The Migration & Wicked Saints!
Thank you! I’m feeling a lot better than I was, so that’s good! Hopefully you don’t end up catching what everyone else has. Looks like you got a lot of great books! I’m still waiting on my copy of Heartstopper Vol 1 to get here. Hopefully this week, I am dying to read it! I thought You Asked for Perfect had a lot of really likeable characters, but I didn’t relate to the story too much and I think that’s why it didn’t blow me away. I still liked it though.
Awesome List! I saw Heroine the other day at my bookstore and loved the cover :p Wonder if it’ll end up being any good!
Thanks! I love the cover of Heroine too. Hopefully it ends up being good!
I am SO excited to see this post! always love your hauls & can’t wait to hear all about how you like um’!
Thanks, Mackenzie! 🙂
Oh Ashley I hope you’ll feel better soon, sending you tons of love and hugs and healthy vibes ❤ ❤ ❤
Thanks, Marie! ❤ I'm feeling much better than I did before. Still have a little cold lingering still, but not as bad as before. 🙂
I’m glad to hear it! Get well soon, sending you love ❤
I’m intrigued by both If It Makes You Happy and Wilder Girls. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on both. Happy reading!
They both sound like really great books! Hopefully I’ll get to reading them soon and get my reviews posted. 🙂
I hope you will feel better soon! Great haul as well; All Things Bright And Strange is a strange story, but I remember enjoying it.
Thanks! That’s good to hear that you enjoyed All Things Bright and Strange. I don’t always do well with strange stories (sometimes too weird or too strange I end up not really liking),but hopefully that won’t be the case for this one!
