Hey!

I actually wanted and planned to take pictures of my books this month, but I packed them before I had the chance to. I completely forgot and realized after I packed them, OOPS! Haha. Goodreads cover it is. I can’t wait until March when I can finally see all of my books again. Anyway, onto my January book haul! You can check out all the books I own over here. I pre-ordered The Wicked King from Barnes & Noble, so my cover is black! My Cruel Prince is also the B&N edition too, so I wanted them both to match. I am really excited to have it even if I didn’t enjoy the story as much as TCP. I can’t wait for that third book though, because that ending was pretty crazy. Of course I had to get King of Scars, because NIKOLAI! The book cover is so gold and so shiny, heart eyes for days. I also got The Language of Thorns, because I didn’t have it yet and I pretty much need all of Leigh Bardugo’s books. There was also a short story I seen the e-book for on Amazon that I wanted to read, but I noticed it was in this book so I just got it so I can read all of the short stories.

I was sent We Rule the Night from The Novl. I was so stoked when I opened my mail and seen this book in the package! It sounds so amazing and like something I would really like and I can’t wait to read and review it. Also, that cover is amazing! I hope I love it, so I can buy a finished copy when it releases in April. I won a giveaway for Bloom on Goodreads, which I was so stoked about. I am currently reading it now and it’s pretty good so far.

There was one week in the month that I went request crazy on Netgalley, which I RARELY ever do. It resulted in four new eARCs (that I am super stoked to read and review) and a few that I am still waiting to hear back on. I think I am hands down the most excited about Spin the Dawn!! These others sound great and right up my alley too though, so I am of course looking forward to reading those too.

I also got a few e-books as well this month. I managed to not go overboard for once? HAHA. 😛 I’ve been really wanting to check these out, so I couldn’t pass up the deals. I am so stoked for Bridge of Clay. I was really happy when I seen that one on sale for $1.99.

Wrap up coming soon. I’m crossing my fingers I can finish Bloom before the end of the month, so I’m waiting on posting my wrap up until I see if I can finish it. It’s a graphic novel, so maybe a good possibility. Tomorrow is the last day to enter the book giveaway on my blog! It’s for a book of your choice and it’s international as long as Book Depository ships to you. I’m picking two winners on February 1st! 😀
