WHOA….I’ve been blogging for four years! That’s pretty crazy to me, especially when I first started (in 2015) I had no idea how long I would even keep it up or how big it would even get. I am close to 1400 followers and I’m still shocked by it every single day! I am so thankful for all the friends I’ve made and met through blogging and the book community. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens this year. I can’t wait to post more things, continue the friendships I made, and meet some new friends! ๐
I did a giveaway last year and it was pretty successful, so I am going to do another giveaway this year! It will run from today (January 17) until January 31st. I will randomly pick and announce TWO winners on February 1st.ย ๐
You will win:
+ A book of your choice up to $20, so basically any book as long as itโs $20 or less.
How to enter:
+ Follow my blog (if youโre not already).
+ Comment your favorite book you read in 2018.
Do both of those things and you’re entered, pretty easy! This giveaway will be international as long as Book Depository ships to you. If you are in the USA, I can send from Amazon if you prefer that way.
GOOD LUCK!! & thanks for reading my blog over the last four years!

4 Star Reads of 2018.
I hope you have a great day!
Wow! Congrats on 4 years! That’s huge ๐ I think my favourite book of 2018 was probably Circe. Though, 2018 was the year I read The Night Circus, and that’s my standout read of the year for sure!
Thank you! ๐ I started to read Circe, but never finished it. I got maybe through 60% of it. I think I’ll still try to finish it before this year ends. So many people love The Night Circus.
Congratulations for your blogiversary! My favourite book of 2018 was absolutely The Song of Achilles.
Thank you! ๐ I’ve never read The Song of Achilles, but I own it and can’t wait to read it.
Happy Blog Anniversary!! I’m so glad we connected through this blogging world!
Also forgot to share my favorite book of 2018!! It was The Simple Wild by KA Tucker.
Thank you! I am so happy that we’ve become friends. I’ve never heard of The Simple Wild, I’ll have to look it up. I love that title though!
4 years is amazing! Congrats! My favourite was probably The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. I loved the characters in it so much, I was a little disappointed when the sequel didnโt have the same characters in it.
Thank you! ๐ I’ve never heard of that book, but I will definitely go look it up and see if it’ll be something I’m interested in. I hate when sequels don’t follow the same characters.
Congratulations on 4 years! My favorite book I read last year was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. My favorite 2018 release was Girls of Paper and Fire.
Thank you! ๐ I need to look up both of these books. I love the titles of them.
You’re welcome!
Happy blogiversary Ashley! โค We started blogging around the same time and I am so happy we both kept at it, you are one of the first bloggers I ever chatted with and I'm so happy that it continues โค here's to more and more years of blogging to come โค โค
And thank you for hosting such a great giveaway! My favorite read of 2018 was Nothing Left To Burn, by Heather Ezell, such a compelling contemporary โค
Thank you, Marie! ๐ I am so happy that we’ve become friends and have kept up with our blogs. Hopefully we’ll both be doing this for a really long time. I’ll have to look up Nothing Left to Burn. I’ve never heard of it, but you and I usually like the same books so I bet I’ll be interested in it. โค
Yes fingers crossed we’ll keep on going and having fun! ๐๐
Oh you should! I really hope you’ll get a chance to read it, I loved it so, SO much ๐
omg, 4 years?! Congratulations!!!! I’m so glad that you kept going with your blog and we became friends. Here’s to many more years (and many more buddy reads!)
My favourite book of 2018 was Red Rising by Pierce Brown ๐
Thanks, Avery! I KNOW! I can’t believe it’s already been four years. Hopefully I’ll stick around for more years to come. And we definitely need some more buddy reads! I hope to finally read Red Rising this year. I’ve been saying I would for so long now, it’s time! haha. ๐
Congrats on the blogaversary! I think my favourite book I read last year was Layla by Jacek Dehnel
Thank you! ๐ I’ve never heard of Layla before, but I will definitely be looking it up.
Congratulations on your 4 th blogiversary. My favorite book I read in 2018 is “Galway Bay” by Mary Pat Kelly.
Marilyn
Thank you! ๐
Happy fourth blogiversary!! That’s amazing!! Here’s to many many more. โค
My favorite book last year was hands down The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. I think it's been the first year it has been this easy to pick just one favorite haha.
Thank you! ๐ โค
I"ve been wanting to get my hands on The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I will definitely be checking that one out hopefully soon.
Thank you SO much for doing this Giveaway! and CONGRATS!๐๐, 4 years is amazing honey, you’re an inspiration๐. My favorite reading of last year was Radio Silence by Alice Osman ๐๐
Thank you! ๐ So crazy that it’s already been four years of doing this! I’ve seen Radio Silence around and it sounds interesting. I’ll have to check it out. โค
Happy 4th Blogiversary! โค My favourite book of 2018 is The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
Thank you! ๐ I’ve heard a lot of good things about The Great Alone. I am actually hoping to read it in February.
Wow four years! That is awesome! My favorite from last year was a toss up between The Darkest Star by Jennifer Lynn Armentrout and Contagion by Erin Bowman.
Thanks! ๐ The Darkest Star sounds interesting. I’ve been wanting to read Contagion. I actually have an e-book copy, so maybe I can finally read it soon.
Both are amazing but personally I wouldn’t start The Darkest Star without reading the Lux series since it gives a ton of backstory. You don’t have to since the new series gives you plenty of info but I enjoyed knowing who the side characters were etc.
Contagion was phenomenal though. Very spooky and great.
I’ve been wanting to read the Lux series, so I will definitely keep that in mind about The Darkest Star. I love spooky reads, so I am stoked to read Contagion this year. Maybe I’ll save it for October for my Halloween theme TBR if it gives spooky vibes. ๐
If you’ve played Dead Space that was the exact vibe I got from Contagion.
Congrats on 4 years!!!
Thank you! ๐
Happy blogiversary, Ashley! I hope we continue to discuss books in 2019 and that you post more cute pet pictures because I always like them, haha. My favorite book in 2018 was Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhouse. What was your favorite?
Thank you, Alicia! ๐ I love taking pictures of my pets, so you can definitely expect some cute pet pictures this year as well haha. I’ve never heard of Trail of Lightning, the title sounds interesting. I will for sure go look that one up on Goodreads. Picking a favorite is so hard, haha. Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa was one of my top picks for 2018. I really loved Where’d You Go, Bernadette so much too.
I’ve heard really good things about Shadow of the Fox.
AHH! Congrats on 4yrs. That’s so wonderful ๐ My fave book of 2018 was probably Kingdom of Ash. SO. GOOD!
Thank you! ๐ I haven’t continued with the Throne of Glass series after the first book, but so many people love it! I might have to give it a second chance and read book two.
Happy blogiversary! My favorite book of 2018 was Legendary by Stephanie Garber!
Thank you! ๐ I’ve been wanting to read Caraval. Hopefully finally I’ll make it happen this year.

Yay! Happy four year bloggiversary, Ashley โค๏ธ
I’ve also been blogging since 2015 and it feels so weird to think that I’ve been doing this for FOUR years! I wouldn’t swap this community for anything and I’m sure you feel the same ๐
I didn’t read tons of books last year but my favourite is definitely Scythe. I waited SO long to read it and I was absolutely amazing – definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
Anyway, here’s to many more years of blogging โค๏ธ
Thank you! ๐ That’s so awesome that you’ve been blogging since 2015 as well. Four years is a lot, but it doesn’t even seem like it’s actually been that long! I’ve been wanting to read Scythe for so long now. I’ve heard so many good things about it. I’m happy to see that you thought it was amazing. I will definitely be picking that one up at some point this year. I finally bought a copy last year. โค
Yay! I hope you enjoy it xx
thanks so much for the giveaway!! my fav book of 2018 was the cruel prince ๐
The Cruel Prince was such a great book! I was a little let down by the sequel though, sadly. Still looking forward to the third book though.
Happy four year blogiversary! I am so excited to have found your blog this year. Oh man, favorite book of 2018… hmmmm… I’d have to say HP & Goblet of Fire! ๐
Thank you, Mackenzie! I am excited that I found your blog too! Harry Potter is always a good choice, although the Goblet of Fire was my least favorite haha. It seems to be a lot of people’s favorite though. ๐
Out of all of them I can see that- it took me forever to get through! But the 5th is already off to an amazing start!

Thank you! ๐ I need to continue with the Throne of Glass series. Everyone seems to love it. I wasn’t that impressed with the first book, so I didn’t continue with the series. A lot of people say it gets better and better with each book, so maybe I should give it a second chance! โค
