WWW Wednesday is a weekly MEME hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Simply answer the following questions. 🙂
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
*Goodreads linked below.
This is a short work week for me, which I am so stoked about. I only had/have to work Tuesday, today, and half a day tomorrow. I managed to finish one book this week and almost finish another. I also have a few books coming up next that I am really excited about! Here are the books that I’ve been reading this week and hope to read really soon.
The Temptation of Adam by Dave Connis
I thought about marking The Temptation of Adam as DNF, but I decided to continue to read it since I only have 30% left of the book and could most likely finish it today if I pushed through it. I really liked the first half of the book and thought it was really good, but then I started to get insanely bored and one of the characters (Dez) started to really annoying me and I honestly can’t stand her. She makes it so hard to want to read the rest of the book, which is such a disappointment because I really liked the beginning a lot. I even liked Dez at first, but now not so much. Guess we’ll see what happens today on whether I finish the book or continue with the DNF status.
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
I finished P.S. I Still Love You last night and while I really did like the book, it didn’t blow me away as much as I was hoping it would. It was definitely not better than the first book in my opinion. I found myself bored quite a bit while reading this one. I also have mixed feelings about the ending. I’ll probably still read the third book though. I have a few ARCs to get to first. I hope the third book is better than this one was.
Not Even Bones by Rebecca Shaeffer
Sadie by Courtney Summers
Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich
These are my options for my reading next. I’m not entirely sure which one I will read next, but it will most likely be one of these three. I am really stoked for every single one of them. I am leaving tomorrow for a mini weekend trip which involves A LOT of hours in the car (there and back), so I should be able to get a lot of reading in. Maybe I’ll even get the chance to finish all three? I want to use this trip to catch up on some ARCs. I even downloaded like 100+ books to my Kindle JUST in case I need more options. 😛
What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Feel free to link me to your posts, so I can check them out!

I’ve heard good things about Sadie. Enjoy your books, and thanks for sharing. Here’s MY WWW POST
Thank you! I can’t wait to start Sadie soon.
I’ve heard amazing things about Sadie. It’s one I want to read myself. I hope you love it!
I really hope Sadie is as good as everyone says it is.
I don’t know if I want to read all the Jenny Han books, because I was really happy with the first one, and sometimes trilogies do not live up to the first one. Have you seen the Netflix movie based on the first one? So good! Here is my WWW post if interested: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/09/05/www-wednesdays-september-5-2018/
I’ve seen the Netflix movie for To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, but I didn’t really think it was that great like everyone else has. I also didn’t like that the movie spoiled the second book for me. The first 100 pages of the second book were the ending of the movie, which was disappointing by time I got around to reading the second book and realized it was things that happened in the movie. The movie felt so different than the book, but now I see why since they included some book two things in the movie they weren’t ever in the first book.
Oh no! It’s a shame you are not enjoying The Temptation Of Adam better… I really loved that one. I’ve heard great things about Sadie! Have a wonderful week and happy reading. 🙂
I was sad that I didn’t love The Temptation of Adam as much as I hoped I would. I still continued to read it though and finished it. I was just hoping for more, I guess. I really could not stand Dez and she made it so hard for me to actually enjoy the book. I hope Sadie is as good as everyone says it is.
Yeah that can definitely ruin a book… Fingers crossed you’ll find some good ones soon!
I am aiming for October for both Not Even Bones and Sadie. Lots of bloggers are praising the latter. Hope your trip is a good one!
I’m halfway through Not Even Bones and I am really enjoying it. Hopefully I’ll be able to start Sadie soon. I was hoping this week, but that ended up not happening. Hopefully it is as good as everyone is saying it is. My trip was great, thanks! 🙂
I’ve only read the first TATBILB book, and I wasn’t a fan. I’ve heard the second does suffer from second-book syndrome, so I’m not sure if I want to keep reading. Anyway, I hope you love Sadie! I loved it–it’s important, relevant, and really dark. Happy reading! ♥
Yeah, the second book definitely suffered from second-book syndrome. I’m halfway through the third book now and I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. Some characters I really liked are starting to really annoy me. I am really looking forward to starting Sadie soon. I am happy to hear that you loved it! ❤
