Hi!
I got unexpectedly super busy over the last almost two weeks, so of course I’ve been MIA from the blogosphere. What’s new though? I think I’m just generally a lot busier during the holidays, to be honest. I’ll talk about those things another time, because right now I am bringing you my Disney World post.
My cousin picked me up on Thursday night, because we were getting up super early the next day for Disney. I live two hours away from her and completely the opposite direction of Disney, so it made sense to get picked up the night before.
My cousin, her son, and I went to Disney on December 1st. Perfect way to start off the last month of the year, to be honest! The most magical place on Earth, right? They have this special Christmas celebration going on called Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and that is what we went to. It was at night, so I wasn’t able to get a ton of pictures. I was also enjoying myself, so taking a lot of pictures was least on my mind. I did somehow manage to get a MILLION pictures of Cinderella’s castle though. IT WAS SO PRETTY!

First stop, Disney Springs during the day before going to the actual Disney park. Disney Springs is basically just a bunch of restaurants and shops. It was still pretty neat and that was fun. We ate at T-Rex Cafe, which was really cool. It’s kind of like Rain Forest Cafe, only dinosaur themed. Not entirely sure where my T-Rex cafe pictures went, but they are MIA from my phone right now, SORRY! Here’s a cool picture of Mickey Mouse though! The right is a picture of myself and my cousin at the T-Rex cafe. It’s blue, because our seats were in the ice cave.

We had to do a shadow Minnie ears picture. It was a MUST. Also a picture of my Minnie ears with one of their Christmas trees too. I was pretty obsessed with my Minnie ears to be honest. π We basically just walked around Disney Springs all day, ate, shopped, and then went back to the hotel until time for Magic Kingdom.
Okay, what you are about to see is a TON of pictures of Cinderella’s castle. You are warned! π
IT’S SO PRETTY, RIGHT? Well just wait until it gets dark outside, because HOLY CRAP! I’ve never seen anything more beautiful. You ready?
AHHHHHH! IT’S AMAZING.
I am still so freaking obsessed with that castle every time I look at the pictures, seriously. BUT WAIT! It gets even better…because we need to throw in some fireworks!
The castle changed multiple times throughout the night. I didn’t get a picture of every single change, but above with the fireworks was one of the changes.

It “snowed” at Disney on Main Street. AKA bubbles, but still really cool! And a fun experience. You can also see another castle change in the first picture. The right is their main Christmas tree and decorations and the “SNOW”.

We also met Mickey Mouse and Jack Skellington. Mickey was so cute and nice and Jack Skellington was so cool.
ALICE!
Here are the Seven Dwarfs from the parade at the end of the night. They’re cute. I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures of the parade. I would have ended up with so many pictures and wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it as much. So I just wanted to enjoy the parade and kept my picture snapping to a minimum. It was also not that easy to get pictures when all the characters danced around so much, lol.

Last, but not least, all of the Mickey shaped FOOOOOD! I also had a Mickey shaped ice cream sandwich (not pictured) too, lol. They were also giving out cookies and hot chocolate for FREE all night and it was amazing.

We got back to her house on Saturday toward the end of the day, so I was able to get some cool sunset pictures. I was pretty exhausted after Disney, so we didn’t really do much besides relax. The next day we had to go to a birthday party for one of her son’s little’s friends. Her son is only three.

Picture of the sunset on the way back to her house on Sunday and then also a picture of the moon from Sunday night as well. π I’m obsessed with taking pictures of sunsets and the moon.
That’s pretty much how my weekend went and it was so much fun! It was the perfect way to start off December.Β Side note: I plan to go back to Disney World ASAP during the day/non-event time, because while I did love the Christmas event, it would have been nice to experience a regular day at Disney and ride a ton of rides, take a ton of pictures, and meet more characters. I still had a lot of fun though.
I still have a couple other posts I need to work on, like my trip to Lakeland, which was almost a month ago. I also need to add all the pictures to my honeymoon post as well, which that happened back in May, OOPS! I want to try to get them done before the end of the year, especially my honeymoon post. I also want to do one more random picture post before the month ends of just random pictures I’ve taken throughout the last couple months.
That’s all for now though! I hope you enjoyed this post and in case you missed it…

Some day I want to go to Disney during Christmastime and Halloween. I think they have the best parties and decorations during those times of year!
Thank you! So glad you loved this post! It was fun sharing all of my Disney pictures, although I wish I could have gotten more pictures. It was a lot harder since the event was at night. I would love to see Disney at the Mickey Halloween event. I bet that’s really cool too!

Thank you! I’ve never visited the Disney in Hong Kong, but it would be so amazing to do so!
Love this post! I’m an Orlando resident, so I love seeing other people’s thoughts on Disney. I go at least three times a month and never ever get tired of seeing the castle. The Disney magic never wears off!
If anyone is interested, I have a few Disney posts up on my blog!
So jealous that you get to go at least three times a month! I am actually going to be moving to Lakeland, which is super close to Orlando at the end of the year, so I am STOKED to be closer to Disney.
