BOOOOOO!
It’s finally October and I LOVE OCTOBER and anything Halloween and Fall and SPOOKY! A little proof; I named one of my cats October, because she makes me think of Halloween with her coloring (mostly black with hints of orange and white). I also named my newest kitten Leaf, because she makes me think of Fall colors/and leaves changing colors. She’s white, orange, and black. 😛
I try to read spooky/Halloween vibe books in the month of October. I don’t always stick to my TBRs though, so this is my “unofficial” Halloweenie TBR. I am being OVER ambitious too, because I need to have a lot of options or there is a higher possibility that I won’t stick to my TBR. I also have other options not listed if I really wasn’t feeling any of these. Without further ado, here are the books on my “unofficial” Halloweenie TBR…

A lot of these were on past Halloweenie TBRs, but I never got around to reading them in 2015 or last year (2016). I think last year I actually only read two books that were on my TBR of nine, LOL. We’ll see how I do this year. There are also a couple books that I already started that I want to also try to finish this month, so I may start with these two first and then move onto my Halloween themed TBR. Those books are:

October is my favorite month too 🙂 Not really because it’s Halloween (although that’s fun too) but because there’s such an Autumn ambience in the air. I love it. Great list! I also started reading some scary reads this month 🙂
I wish Florida had more of an Autumn feel to it, haha. It’s forever hot here haha. But I love the holiday months though, especially decorating. Thank you! Perfect time to get those spooky books read. 🙂
Oh that’s so funny I actually moved out of Florida to Pennsylvania about a year ago. I couldn’t stand all that heat anymore! ☀️☀️☀️

Great list!! The cover of Welcome to the Dark House looks awesome! I read her book, Shutter, last year and liked it so I’ll definitely have to add this to my TBR.
I would also like to read And the Trees Crept In this month.
I think I have Shutter on my Goodreads TBR. I’ve had Welcome to the Dark House since like 2015 I think LOL. Let’s see if I finally read it this year. I hope I like And the Trees Crept In. I wasn’t a big fan of her other book.

Thank you! I can’t believe how fast Leaf is growing. Seriously! She was so freaking tiny when we found her. October and Leaf are now besties, which is awesome. I’m so glad October finally warmed up to her. I can’t wait to read all of these spooky books! I love the Asylum series, so I am excited to continue it. Just currently waiting for the two books to be delivered, ahhh! I want to start those as soon as I get them.
That’s awesome news! I’m glad to hear they are besties now… Jasmine never warmed up to Lila to that level but at least she now tolerates her haha.
