Book Haul|| September.

Happy October! πŸ˜€

I was planning to post this before October 1st, but I got distracted with some other things. I also didn’t have time to take a picture of any of the books that I got in September, so I’ll be using the cover pictures from Goodreads. I’m going to just jump right into my book haul for September. I got a decent amount of books, but only bought 4 (not counting ebooks) books myself. All the rest were sent to me by publishers, which is always cool!

Physical Books:

releasehowtoruineverything

Release by Patrick Ness
How To Ruin Everything by George Watsky

I had to get Patrick Ness’ new book Release, because I love his writing. Definitely one of my favorite authors and an auto-buy author for me. I’ve been obsessed with George Watsky’s music lately, so I wanted to get a copy of his book How to Ruin Everything. I can’t wait to read them both. Maybe next month. πŸ™‚

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving

Not pictured, because I didn’t like any of the covers on Goodreads (LOL) and the ones that I got I didn’t see on their list of editions. These were only $1 each at Target. I got them because I figure they would be quick reads for Halloween.

From Publishers:

devilsandthieves

Devils & Thieves by Jennifer Rush

I was sent an ARC of Devils & Thieves from The Novl. I am SO FREAKING STOKED to have my hands on this book. I’m obsessed with books about motorcycle gangs after reading the first books in the Thunder Road series.

slayall that wasdaughterofthesirenqueen

Slay by Matthew Laurence (sequel)
All That Was by Karen Rivers
Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller (sequel)

star strucktheforgottenbookmarysmonster

The Forgotten Book by Mechthild Glaser
Star Struck by Jenny McLachlan (4th book)
Mary’s Monster by Lita Judge
Claiming My Place by Planaria Price

I was sent all of these ARCs from Fierce Reads, which was exciting! Although a few of them are sequels to other books that I haven’t read yet. it gives me a reason to push them up on my TBR though. πŸ˜› I’m excited about Mary’s Monster. It’s told in free verse and there are a ton of illustrations in the book. I think it’ll also be good for a Halloween read as well. No final book cover for Claiming My Place yet.

E-Books:

tradingworldscoldsummerchildrentotheslaughter

Trading Worlds by Barry Lyga
Cold Summer by Gwen Cole
Children to the Slaughter by A.I. Nasser

elizaandhermonstersanyboybutyouartificialsweetheartseastofeden

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
Any Boy but You by Julie Hammerle
Artificial Sweethearts by Julie Hammerle
East of Eden by John Steinbeck

What books did you get this month? Have you read any of the ones that I got? Feel free to link me to your book haul posts.

I am so excited that it’s October, because it’s one of my favorite months of the year. I love Halloween and Fall stuff. I’m going to attempt a Halloweenie TBR again this year, which I will probably post tomorrow the spooky books I plan to hopefully read this month. Be on the look out for that!

Random picture: here’s my little (not so little anymore) Leaf! She’s grown so big over the last three months. I hate how kittens grow so fast. She’s ready for Halloween. πŸ˜›
