Hi!

I actually finished three books since last week! I’ve been breezing through books, which has been nice. Here are the books that I’ve been reading this week…

Currently Reading:

wallthedge

Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry

I am back into the Thunder Road series and I couldn’t be happier. I am about 30% into Walk the Edge and I love every minute of it so far. I am glad that I get to see Razor’s story and so far it’s a pretty sad one.

Recently Finished:

alexapproximatelyaworkinprogressnotetoself

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
A Work in Progress by Connor Franta
Note to Self by Connor Franta

Alex, Approximately was everything I hoped it would be. It was such a fun book and I loved everything about it. I posted a review a few days ago, so I’ll have that linked down below if you want to check it out! I had no idea who Connor Franta was until I read his books. He’s a YouTuber in case you didn’t know. After reading his books, I am definitely a fan. I felt like I could really connect to a lot of the things he was saying in his books and about his life and I love all of his pictures that he took and included in them. I loved A Work in Progress and Note to Self. Great reads and easy to fly through them in a day.

Reading Next:

The Crown’s Fate by Evelyn Skye
Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy
History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

My library did this thing that I hate where all the books that I have on hold get checked out to me at the exact same time. At one point last week I had SIX books checked out to me! These are the remaining three books I currently have checked out to me after I finish Walk the Edge. I am not sure which one I will read next, but it’ll definitely be one of these three. I have about 16 days to read them all…ughhh. DAMN LIBRARY! I am excited about them all though.

What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Let me know and link me to your posts if you have one!

I still need to do my vacation picture post. I swear I say this almost every post. I think I’ll start doing the typing of it first and then go through all my pictures. That’s the part that is basically holding me back, the pictures. I just have so many to go through to decide which to post lol. OVERWHELMING! But I do want to share, so I will eventually do this. PROMISE! 😀

Until then, here is one of my favorite pictures from Washington DC. After walking all over the city all day in the heat and climbing all of the stairs to get to the top of the Lincoln Memorial, here is our view when we took a break after visiting Abe (I love Abraham Lincoln so much). I was not ready to walk down those stairs right away haha. It was worth all the heat, walking, and stairs though. The view was amazing and seeing the Lincoln Memorial was so amazing and my favorite.

    • The photos were definitely a cool addition to A Work in Progress. I’m so glad there were tons of them in Note to Self too. I hope you like it when you get the chance to read it.

  1. Good to hear you are enjoying Walking The Edge! Can’t wait to read that one and Ramona Blue. History Is All You Left Me is such a great read as well! ❤ Happy reading

    • Walk the Edge is so good! I am really enjoying this series. I am super stoked about Ramona Blue. I loved Dumplin’ so much, so I can’t wait to see what else Julie has in store for us! Glad to hear you liked History Is All You Left Me. I am really looking forward to that one. ❤
