HI!

I mentioned last week that I was taking a little break from reading, which lasted for about 4-5 days. Over the weekend I got back into reading and read one of the ARCs on my list and also so far this week I was able to finish an audiobook as well. 😀 Here are the books that I’ve been reading this week…

Currently Reading:

sagavol1

Saga Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan, Fiona Staples

I’ve been seeing a lot of good things about Saga, so I decided to give it a chance. This is my first time reading a graphic novel. I’m about halfway through with it and I really like it so far. I decided to order the next two volumes and I’m super stoked to finish this one and continue on with the series.

Recently Finished:

legionAMISHGUYSDONTCALL

Legion by Julie Kagawa
Amish Guys Don’t Call by Debby Dodds

Legion!! I have SO much love for this series. Legion was just as amazing as the other books in the Talon Saga. Julie continues to shatter my heart. Julie and this series has all the millions of pieces of my heart. Amish Guys Don’t Call wasn’t exactly what I expected and turned out to be a little weird for me, but it was still a decent read. I’ll link my review of it at the end of this post.

Reading Next:

thewindfalltheunlikelies

The Windfall by Diksha Basu
The Unlikelies by Carrie Firestone

My reading next still looks about the same as last week minus two books that are now in my recently finished. Still up in the air for what I’m going to read next. Possibly one of these two ARCs that I have left and both releasing in June. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have for reading over the next few weeks. This week and part of next week I’ll be busy getting things ready for vacation/honeymoon; we leave next weekend! When we actually leave I don’t know how much time I will have between doing things in Washington DC and New York City. I’ll have these ARCs along with me (if I don’t read them before we leave) and the next two volumes of Saga, so we’ll see what happens!

What are you currently reading? Recently finished? Reading next? Have you read any of these books? Let me know and link me to your posts if you have one!

    • I think I may pick up the Unlikelies next since it’ll be releasing June 6th and I want to hopefully get my review up before then. 🙂 I am definitely looking forward to reading that one.

  1. You really make me want to pick up the Talon books so bad!! The only reason I haven’t already is that I’ve heard the cliffhangers are pretty brutal, so I might just wait until the final book is published to save my poor heart. 😉 I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading!

    • Just a warning about the Talon series, there is a love triangle. I know you’re not the biggest fan of love triangles (I’m not either). But the series is so good! Yeah, the cliffhangers suck! Hahah. I’m always left hanging and dying for more.

      • I can tolerate love triangles if the story itself is good enough, and this one definitely sounds like one of them. I’m not sure how I’ve been able to resist this long, especially since I LOVE dragon stories, but my poor heart is grateful I guess. 😉
