What happened to April? I feel like it flew by so quickly. I am super stoked about this month though, because we finally leave for our honeymoon at the end of the month! I should probably be getting things ready for that, but I’ve been reading a lot more instead. Oops. 😛 Here’s what I’ve been reading…

Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
I am a little over 100 pages into Nowhere But Here and it’s pretty good so far. My friend Shelbie really loves the series, so I decided to finally read it since I’ve had the e-book for awhile. I’m enjoying it and excited to see where it goes.
Recently Finished:
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus
I’m not completely sure how I feel about A Court of Mist and Fury. There were a lot of things I didn’t like and it was kind of boring for awhile. Feyre also REALLY started to get on my nerves and became pretty annoying. I really like Rhysand, though I wasn’t sure how I felt about him in A Court of Thorns and Roses. He started to grow on me in this book. Also, WTF was up with Tamlin? He was like a completely different person. I don’t really know if I like that, because I really liked Tamlin in the first book and this one he wasn’t the same person at all. I don’t really know how to feel about this book and it’s kind of annoying because Feyre did so much in the first book for her love with Tamlin and then it was completely thrown out the window in this book like it didn’t mean anything. I had a hard time even rating this book. I think I’m just confused by the entire thing, to be honest. What was the point of ACOTAR? This one took everything from that book and threw it out the window.
ANYWAY, I rambled so much about ACOMAF, but I also recently finished One of Us Is Lying and loved that book so much. Nothing but good things to say about that one. I couldn’t put it down and I finished it in a day. You can check out my review for it on my blog. I’ll link it down below at the end of this post.

I received Amish Guys Don’t Call from Netgalley for review. It sounds really good and I am also fascinated by the Amish for some reason, lol. I think It’ll be a fun read. I’ll have a review up hopefully next week for this one. LEGION!!! The fourth book in the Talon series, which I love more than words can explain. This series has my heart. It was just released last week and I am STOKED. I can’t wait to dive back into this world; I need my dragons!

My WWW Wednesday.
I’m almost 200 pages into it and now it’s so freaking good. So far I am really enjoying it and if I had more free time during the week, I would probably not leave from my bed and finish it right away. Haha.
Ugh! I need to get to it!!! You’re making me want to throw my TBR to the wind.

I’ve actually put the ACOTAR series on hold for now, because I had suspicions about a possible love triangle and not liking Feyre… Seems like I wasn’t completely wrong about things then; a shame you didn’t like it better though. I might just leave ACOTAR as a standalone and not read the sequels at all in the end. And I’m definitely adding One Of Us Is Lying to my wishlist. Happy reading!
I wanted to love A Court of Mist and Fury so much, but I don’t know. It was just weird to me and didn’t make sense for me. Especially after everything that happened in ACOTAR. I don’t even know if I like my three star rating. I still keep thinking about the book and I finished it days ago and I get angrier and angrier the more I think about it lol. UGHH. It’s not even that I don’t like Rhysand, because I really like him. It’s just so confusing to me and annoying. You’ll have to read it to see what I’m talking about. I want to read the new book, but I don’t think I will for awhile. I’m not in any rush to get to it. Glad to hear you’re adding One of Us Is Lying to your wishlist! 😀
Ooooh I’ve got an eARC of One of Us Is Lying and now I’ve seen you say there are only good things to say about it I’m more excited to read it. I’ll have to get to that soon! I feel like I’m one of only a few people who has yet to read anything by SJM and I’m slightly wary of the ACOTAR series from what I’ve been seeing around! I hope you enjoy your next reads 🙂

I hope you enjoy One of Us Is Lying! I actually stayed in bed on Sunday and read the entire book in one day. I could not put it down! Not going to lie, I am not the biggest Sarah J Maas fan. I read the first Throne of Glass books and I didn’t love it. It was just okay. I really liked ACOTAR, but this second book was just okay for me. It wasn’t the greatest. So I have no clue what’s up with me and SJM hahah.
Haha fair enough! So many people love her books so I’ve always thought maybe I’m missing out. I’ll probably read them one day! I’m looking forward to OoUiL, it sounds awesome!
I saw One of Us is Lying on someone’s WWW a few weeks back and thought it sounded really interesting! I’ve heard a lot of conflicting reviews of the ACOTAR series. I did want to read it but I’ve read a couple of books that had a similar hype that disappointed me so I’m not sure whether I will now. Enjoy the rest of your reads!
One of Us Is Lying is definitely a really interesting book. I have such bad luck when it comes to really hyped books. I usually tend to not love them as much as everyone else. The sad thing is, I really did love ACOTAR, but the second book was just not good. Too many things wrong with it and I feel like it cancelled out the first book completely. Thank you! 🙂
