Day 6: Biggest book you’ve read this year.

2016wrapupchallenge

Hello!🙂

I seen this December photo a day challenge on theeminha‘s bookstagram and decided to take part in it on my bookstagram (foreverbookish_ – feel free to add me!) and also turn them into blog posts as well. You can check out my original post over here with all the topics for each day if you want to take part in it as well!

Day 6: Biggest book you’ve read this year.

Winter by Marissa Meyer. I am pretty sure that this is the biggest book that I read this year. It is over 800 pages! I’ve said it many many times before, but I have a lot of mixed feelings about this series. Cinder and Winter are probably the only two books that I actually loved in the series. The others were okay, but not that great.

What was the biggest book you’ve read this year?

I will be back tomorrow with day seven. The topic for day seven will be “the worst book of 2016″.

December TBR.

decembertbr

Hello! 🙂

Happy December! I can’t believe that it is already December. This year flew by and it’s pretty crazy! As always, I have a love/hate for monthly TBRs because I don’t always stick to them. I continued to make them all year even though I swore I wouldn’t do it, lol. I’m a little late with posting this, but I was waiting for one of my books to get delivered to me. With that being said…here is my December TBR!

The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily by Rachel Cohn, David Levithan
My True Love Gave To Me edit by stephanie perkins
Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, Lauren Myracle
Love and First Sight by Josh Sundquist
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

In the spirit of December and Christmas, I decided to add a few holiday books to my TBR list this month. I loved the first Dash & Lily book, so I can’t wait to read the second one. I may reread (or listen) to the first book to refresh my memory. My True Love Gave To Me and Let It Snow are both books with short stories in them, so I think they will be easy to read and fly through. I actually finished Let It Snow the other day and will have a mini review posted up soon. I was sent an ARC of Love and First Sight and it’s releasing in January, so onto my December TBR it goes. I am actually really looking forward to reading it. I’ve been wanting to read Carry On since release day last year. I’ve had it on my TBR almost every single month since then and never read it. I wanted to make it a goal to read it before the end of the year. I don’t know that I actually will, to be honest; but I’ll just throw it up on my TBR for old time sake. 😛

Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness (e-book)
The Fever Code by James Dashner (audiobook)

I started the Chaos Walking trilogy last year and I am hoping to finish it this year. I took a looooong break between reading The Knife of Never Letting Go and now the final book. I already started it, but only read a little over 100 pages. Let’s see what happens and if I can finish it this month. The Fever Code was on my TBR and I actually finished it though and it was pretty good! 😀 It was a 4 out of 5 stars for me.

What’s on your December TBR? Have you read any of these books?

I am crossing my fingers I am able to finish every single one of these books, but I’ll be happy if I at least finish my holiday books and my ARC. We’ll see what happens!
