Book Haul|| September.

BOOKHAUL

Hey!

I can’t believe it’s already the last day of September! Where has this month gone? The end of the month snuck up on me, that’s for sure. I am here to share my September book haul. I got a lot of awesome books that I have been dying to get my hands on and I got them all on sale. I think the most expensive book of the bunch was $7.99! Here are the books that I got this month!

Random books:

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini
Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlind

I found Brisinger for $1.50 at Goodwill! I am so stoked, because I’ve been slowly collecting the series so I can binge read them. I am only missing the fourth book now! I’ve found the first three at Goodwill over the last year and a half. Crossing my fingers I find the fourth one! Someone at my sister’s job gave me her copy of Before We Were Strangers in exchange for a copy of Shattered Blue, which I was totally cool with! I love a ton of copies and it also helps get more people to read my friend’s book!

Book Outlet:

Riders by Veronica Rossi
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab

I purchased Riders and A Gathering of Shadows in August, but they didn’t arrive until September, so I didn’t include them in my haul last month. I only paid $2.99 for Riders, which was exciting because I’ve been wanting to read it and I got it for so cheap! I’m glad I found A Gathering of Shadows on there too, because Amazon usually has the prices set really high for V.E. Schwab books. I also got these Harry Potter themed bookmarks from Happy Hello Art on Etsy. I go the Ravenclaw scarf, because that’s my house!

One by Sarah Crossan
Dreamland by Robert L. Anderson

*Sorry about the glare. I didn’t realize my light was shining on my book until after I took the picture and put my books away, ugh.*

The Girl Who Fell by Shannon M. Parker
Truest by Jackie Lea Sommers
Working Stiff by Judy Melinek, T.J. Mitchell

All of these I have been dying to read and get my hands on copies, so when Book Outlet had them all I couldn’t resist! They actually have had some decent books this month. I was definitely excited about Working Stiff, because I seen it in a book store while I was in California and I thought it sounded so good and I regretted not buying it ever since then. So when Book Outlet had it, I was stoked.

E-Books:

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies
Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists
Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide by JK. Rowling
The Girl With All the Gifts by M.R. Carey

I didn’t really find many good e-book deals this month. I also wasn’t really looking too hard for any, so my e-book haul is pretty light. I’m okay with this though! I have enough to read as it is, lol. I am so stoked about all the Harry Potter short stories!

*I forgot to include Riders and A Gathering of Shadows in my haul picture for my bookstagram, oops.*

What books did you get this month? Have you read any of the ones that I got? Feel free to link me to your haul posts, so I can check them out!

Hopefully this weekend or Monday I will have my wrap up posted on my blog and my Halloween TBR. I am still trying to figure out what books I want to put on my Halloween TBR.

I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!

    • Thank you! 😀 I hope I can find the last one at another Goodwill soon! Thank you for linking me to your post. I will definitely head over to your blog and check it out!

  1. Nice haul you got there seems like you have alot of great reading to do in the future. Really exciting to read the Harry Potter books, will love to read what you think about them later.

I havnt bought 1 book this month actually since I have planned to read all of the unread books in the shelf from now on. Buuut tomorrow I will visit a second hand shop and might come home with one och two books, who knows ;P

    • Thank you! I am so excited about this haul, because it’s been books that I have been wanting to get my hands on. I’ve been trying to hold out on buying books unless I can get them on sale, so I was stoked!

LUCKY YOU, actually haha. I’ve been trying not to buy books at all but I keep failing at it! At least I’ve been getting books on sale versus full price. I still want to go a month without buying. It’s only the third day in October and I already have 5 books for my October haul OOOOPS! 😛

  2. Wow, beautiful haul Ashley! I hope you enjoy One – I quite enjoyed it; it was very heartfelt and moving, and I liked the unique storytelling too.
Unfortunately I didn’t buy any books this month! I’ve been using my library a lot, and haven’t got around to buying something yet. I am thinking of buying Not Your Sidekick though, which is a book I enjoyed a lot. ^_^

I hope you have a great October!

    • Thank you! I’ve been wanting to read One for so long now and I am glad I finally got a copy of it! I’ve been waiting for it to go on Book Outlet forever, haha. That’s awesome that you’ve been using your library more though! I need to start using the library more rather than keep buying books! I spend so much money on books and a lot of the time they just start collecting dust unread on my shelves, sigh. I’ve never heard of Not Your Sidekick. I’m going to go check it out, maybe it’ll be something that’ll interest me!
