FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by Babs at Babs Book Bistro. *All linked to Goodreads*
Hi 🙂
I’ve been adding so many books to my Goodreads TBR over the last year and a half and I decided to go through them and delete a ton of books that I probably wouldn’t read or that I didn’t really remember what they were about. I also deleted some older books that I still haven’t read and didn’t feel like I would ever get around to them. So although my Goodreads TBR lists are still quite large, they are not as large as they were before lol. By the way, I really need to do this with the books (and e-books) that I own too. I know I have gotten so many that at one time I knew I wanted to read, but now my opinions have changed on some.
Anyway, this is a Friday Finds post. So even though I did get rid of some books off my Goodreads TBR lists, I did add some new ones to the lists. Here are some of the books that I added to my Goodreads TBR shelves this week. You can see more of my TBR list over on my Goodreads account over here and feel free to add me as a friend!
Iris by Toni Owen-Blue
Kingdom of Ash and Briars by Hannah West
Unnatural Deeds by Cyn Balog
The Lost & Found by Katrina Leno
Our Song by Ashley Bodette
Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow
Have you added any new books to your TBR? Feel free to link me to your posts if you have one.
I recently mentioned that I was moving to a new place with more space. In the move I gained a little reading room (well area since it’s opened) just for myself and all my books! I’m still working on it, especially clearing the clutter off of my bookshelves, but here it is. In a few months or so I plan to also get some new bookshelves. I want shelves that match and I want white shelves. For now this is fine though.

Friday Finds #50.
I hope you have a great weekend!
Hello, Ashley! Cool collection you’ve got there! Happy Friday!
Thank you 😀
I love your new reading space! And I really should clean out my Goodreads TBR list as well; it’s huge and I’m sure there are tons of books on it that I will never read… I love your finds by the way; the covers are so pretty. Have a great weekend!
Thanks! 🙂
I am glad I cleaned up my Goodreads TBR a bit. It still seems pretty overwhelming, but not as bad as it once was LOL. I’m sure I could probably clean out a few more if I really looked through them.
I should really start a Goodreads cleanup as well, but my to-read shelves currently at 1.172! books it’s all a bit overwhelming haha. At least I have a separate shelf for the books I already own but haven’t read to make things less confusing. 😉
That’s good that you have the other Goodreads shelf too. I have two also. One of books that I want to read/sound interesting and then another shelf that I for sure definitely want to read. So at least that helps.
Yeah shelving definitely helps a lot! I also have a ‘need to get soon’, ‘priority read’ and ‘most anticipated releases’ shelf to find those books I’m really excited about easier. 😉
I have to go through my goodreads TBR as well. I have such a huge list of books that I probably wont get through. You got some new interesting books 🙂
My Friday Finds
I highly recommend going through your TBR on Goodreads. It feels so much less overwhelming when you get rid of a bunch of books on the list that you know you probably won’t read. 🙂
I need to do a goodreads the clean up too. I usually do a Wishes for My TBR post each month to discuss books I recently added but haven’t had the time to do one lately.
Last year I added so many books to my Goodreads TBR shelves and when I was going through them again this year I’m like “what is this, why is it on my list” HAHAH. So it’s nice going through my lists and getting rid of books that I don’t remember what they are or that I probably won’t be reading.

I love the looks of Kingdom of Ash and Briars! I love fairytale retellings and this one looks interesting!
Here’s my FF. 🙂 Have a good weekend and happy reading!
