Too Late by Colleen Hoover
4.5 out of 5 stars.

“I read once that the difference between an extrovert and an introvert isn’t how you act in a group setting. It’s whether or not those group settings give you fuel or drain you.”

Goodreads Description: Sloan will go through hell and back for her little brother. And she does, every single night. Forced to remain in a relationship with the dangerous and corrupt Asa Jackson, Sloan will do whatever it takes to make sure her brother has what he needs. Nothing will get in her way. Nothing except Carter. || Sloan is the only good thing to ever happen to Asa. He knows this and he never plans on letting her go; even if she doesn’t approve of his lifestyle. But despite Sloan’s disapproval, Asa knows what it takes to get what he wants. He knows what he needs to do to remain on top. Nothing will get in his way. Nothing except Carter.

I’ve been trying to write my thoughts on this book for over a week now and I can’t seem to find the right words for it. This may be on the shorter side. I pretty much loved this book so much and I don’t really have a negative thing to say about it. I also have no idea how to put my thoughts into words for this one, so it will guarantee be all over the place. Sorry in advance. 😛

Colleen Hoover wrote a free book on Wattpad, so I had to check it out. I love CoHo’s writing and she hasn’t disappointed me yet. Too Late was hard to put down and I read it in a day. It was crazy intense and dealt with a lot of difficult things too. Sloan was such a strong character and the things she had to go through day to day were pretty crazy. She did it all for her brother though, so she felt like she had no choice but to stick things out. She was so strong for that, because it was crazy. The entire book was just INSANE. It was so so so good though! I really loved Carter and thought he was an awesome character. Asa was…I don’t even know. You’ll have to read it and see, lol. I will say that he definitely scared me, that’s for sure.

When I first read the book on Wattpad I was disappointed with the ending, because I wanted more out of it and I felt it was incomplete. Then I found out that Colleen Hoover wrote TWO epilogues to conclude the book and they were amazing. The book ended perfectly and it’s definitely one of my favorites now. I highly recommend that you check it out! Plus, it’s free, so why not? I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this one, especially all of you CoHo fans!

Have you read Too Late? If so, what did you think?

I’ll have my April book haul posted in a couple days. I also have two other reviews to write and post. I’m having such a difficult time with them lately and probably because I haven’t been doing them regularly like before; so I am drawing a blank. I need to get back into the swing of things ASAP! The next few months are going to be crazy busy for me though. I have a feeling this entire year is going to be a crazy one for me with all the wedding stuff happening. I am also trying to organize my life and home and I am failing completely at it, sigh.

Anyway, I hope you have a great day! 😀

  1. I’m glad you loved the book so much!! I just recently read a CoHo book as well (confess) but I wasn’t as big a fan as you were! I’ll have to check out this one as well!
