Hey!

I’ve been in this really crazy reading slump and blogging slump. I’ve mentioned it before. I think the blogging slump is brought on by the fact that I am not reading. If I’m not reading, then I’m not blogging. I don’t have very many ideas floating around in my head of blog posts to do. Please feel free to share with me anything you would like to see me post about. Or I can even take pictures of things too. Anything you want to see a picture of? Have any questions? Let me know! 🙂

I’ve been reading this book called Seveneves, which I have mentioned before. It’s a Sci-Fi book and the moon explodes and the people on Earth have are trying to figure out what to do and repopulate in space, so the human race can go on. It’s so good, but this slump is totally killing my mood to read it. It’s also a really long book, so I feel like I’m making no progress in it even though I read it all the time and that is frustrating too. I’m a little over 100 pages in and the book is about 870 pages! Here’s a little snippet from the description: “A catastrophic event renders the earth a ticking time bomb. In a feverish race against the inevitable, nations around the globe band together to devise an ambitious plan to ensure the survival of humanity far beyond our atmosphere, in outer space.”

One of my favorite bands The Summer Set has a new album that just released; Stories for Monday. I am so obsessed with it already. I’ve heard it a million times already, lol. 😛 Being the huge fangirl that I am, Brian (lead singer) was answer questions from fans on Twitter and being the huge bookworm that I am I asked what his favorite book was or to recommend me a book. He actually answered my question! So I almost died for a minute, but I survived and ordered the book he recommended LOL.

I went to my cousin’s house for an Easter party. That was a lot of fun. She throws a family Easter party every single year. I went a day early, so I could help with food and setting everything up for the party. We made homemade noodles, which is always fun and a little messy. There was also an Easter egg hunt for the kids and an Easter bunny pinata, lol. The kids had fun with that.

The fiance and I decided that we wanted pizza at our wedding. If you don’t know already, I am OBSESSED with pizza. So we are going to once a week (or every other week) to try a new pizza place out in the search for the perfect pizza for our wedding. This weekend we did just that! We went to our first pizza place out of MANY to go! We also stopped at a bookstore, which is the home of Catsby (check him out on Instagram: catsby_the_bookshop_cat). He’s 14 years old and lives in the bookstore. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT?! I’m so jealous. I want to live in a bookstore!

Pizza: I rated it a 3 out of 5 and Andy rated it 4 out of 5. And there is Catsby! He’s so cute and soft!

And speaking of wedding, I got a lot of things done…kind of. I picked out the food that I want. I picked out the wedding colors. I bought a couple decorations and have an idea of other decorations that I want. I think we found the wedding venue. I picked out my save the dates (and possibly invites) and made the guest list. Save the dates will be mailed in a week or two!
