Hi!
Happy Leap Day! February actually flew by pretty quickly and I am sure that has a lot to do with the fact that it was such a busy month for me. I had so much going on and a big thing was preparing for my California trip! I know you all are probably tired of hearing about that though, haha. So how about I just get right into the recap.
You can find a full list of these books and the other books I read this year over here. All will be linked to Goodreads below and I will also link to individual blog posts for them if I did a review.
Physically Read Books:
These are the books that I read by myself (aka not audio) throughout the month of February.

seven ways we lie by riley redgate – REVIEW. – 2 OUT OF 5 STARS.
This book wasn’t the greatest and I felt it was so hard to really connect with the characters. I found it to be pretty boring as well. It’s told in multiple point of views and it was just way too hard to keep track of them all. Feel free to check out my review for more!
november 9 by colleen hoover – REVIEW. – 4 OUT OF 5 STARS.
I really enjoyed this one. I loved the characters, especially Ben. I liked that it switched POVs between Fallon and Ben. I loved the romance and there was a pretty big twist at the end that I didn’t expect. It was a fun read and at times heartbreaking. Colleen Hoover will do that to you though. Feel free to check out my review for more!
winger by andrew smith – REVIEW. – 4 OUT OF 5 STARS.
Winger was hilarious and full of surprises. It was happy and it was sad. It was fun and shocking. It was a really great book. I highly recommend this to everyone. It was so hard coming up with my thoughts and feelings on this one and it still is now. Feel free to check out my review for more!
Audiobooks:
These are the books that I listened to the audio versions of throughout the month of February.

the nest by kenneth oppel – 3 OUT OF 5 STARS.
Strange. Weird. Creepy. I didn’t like bees and wasps before and now I really don’t like them, lol. It was a bit weird and didn’t blow me away, but it was still pretty good.
maybe someday by colleen hoover – REVIEW. – 5 OUT OF 5 STARS.
HOLY MOLY, THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING! It was hands down my favorite book that I read this month and probably so far this year. Colleen Hoover writes amazing books and this was nothing short of amazing. I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved the little surprises, I loved the romance, I love that music was incorporated into it in a big way. It was so great. Feel free to check out my review for more!
another day by david levithan – 3 OUT OF 5 STARS.
Another Day was basically Every Day, but told in Rhiannon’s point of view. I personally wasn’t a Rhiannon fan, so I didn’t enjoy Another Day as much ad I did Every Day. If you didn’t like Rhiannon, you really don’t even have to read this book before the next book in the series comes out.
the heir by kiera cass – 2 OUT OF 5 STARS.
Boring. Boring. Boring. The Selection all over again only worse. WAAAAY worse, because I actually liked the Selection. The stars are really just for Maxon, because I still loved him just as much as I loved him in The Selection, lol. The MC was just so whiny and annoying. She was almost as bad as her mother America and you all know how much I hated her.
fairest by marissa meyer – 3 OUT OF 5 STARS.
It shouldn’t be any surprise to you guys that I am not on the hype train for the Lunar Chronicles. I personally don’t think it’s as amazing as everyone says it is. Fairest was pretty good at the start, but then it started to go downhill for me. That happened with the other books too though. Cinder was sooo good, but I have no idea what happened with Scarlet and Cress. Those books were just so boring. Same deal with Fairest. It was a tad bit better than Scarlet and Cress though. It was nice getting Levana’s side of the story, which was an interesting one.
Have you read any of these books? If not, do you think you will? Let me know and link me to your wrap up posts. I would love to check them out!
That’s all for my recap. I’m not entirely sure what I will be reading in March, because I’ll be in California for almost a week in March and not sure how much down time I will have to read. I was also sent a couple ARCs and I have a book to finish. Other than that, I’ll probably stick to my TBR jar so I can get some books read for my 2016 read my books challenge. I’ll have a couple book haul posts up in the next couple of days. 🙂
I hope you have an amazing day!
