Hi!

I am so glad that this month I have actually been doing some reading! I can’t necessarily say my reading slump is completely gone, but it’s starting to slowly go away. I’m not reading as much or as fast as I would like, but I am just glad I am actually reading and I have a lot of hopefully awesome books to read this month. Here is what my reading has been like for the last week or so…

Currently Reading:

november9

November 9 by Colleen Hoover

I am currently reading November 9 and so far I like it. I’m not too far into it, but I am already falling in love with Ben, lol. 😛 I am excited to be reading this book, because I’ve heard so many good things about it. I’m also obsessed CoHo now and she hasn’t disappointed me yet! You can check out my thoughts on Ugly Love and Confess; both linked to my posts.

Recently Finished:

26240663thenest

Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate
The Nest by Kenneth Oppel

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Seven Ways We Lie. It was so hard to connect with the characters, because there were so many POVs. You can check out my thoughts on that one that I posted recently over here. I listened to the audiobook of The Nest and it was so strange. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it, to be honest. It didn’t blow me away, but it wasn’t bad. It was interesting and weird. I’ve always hated bugs, especially bees and wasps…this book just made me even more terrified, lol.

Reading Next:

cruelcrownglass sword

Cruel Crown
Glass Sword
by Victoria Aveyard

I plan to finish the last novella in Cruel Crown and then dive into Glass Sword! I have been dying for the release of Glass Sword and I am so stoked to read it! 😀 Red Queen was one of my favorite reads in 2015. You can check out my thoughts on Red Queen over here. I just got my copy yesterday in the mail and I told the boyfriend that I had been waiting a year for it and then I actually hugged and pet my book, lol. The boyfriend told me I was weird.

What are you currently reading? Recently Finished? Reading Next? Let me know and feel free to link me to your posts!

I hope you have an amazing day! 🙂

    • So far I am really liking November 9 and I’ve heard so many good things about it. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to read it! I’ve been waiting far too long for Glass Sword, so glad it’s here now! 🙂

  1. Good to hear the reading slump is going away! I loved November 9 and I don’t even like romance, so it’s great to hear you are enjoying it as well! And I can’t wait to read Glass Sword! I have been saving the novellas for when I get a copy so I can all read them together.

    Happy Wednesday! Here’s my WWW.

    • I am so glad my reading slump is finally starting to go away! It’s been months where I haven’t been wanting to read much at all or have been enjoying the books. I don’t really like romances too much, but I am seriously in love with these Colleen Hoover books haha! I read the first Glass Sword novella, but not the second one. I’m excited to read it and Glass Sword soon! 🙂

      • Reading slumps seriously suck; I haven’t been reading as much as previous months either and I’m keeping my fingers crossed it won’t evolve in a full reading slump… Colleen Hoover’s books are great! I want to read more of her work soon… I have Ugly Love already waiting for me. I’m so excited about Glass Sword! 😀

  2. I hope ‘Glass Sword’ lives up to your expectations. So many people are loving that series. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

  4. I’ve heard some mixed things about November 9 and the nature of the relationship between the two main characters. Keen to hear your thoughts on the book when you’re done! I’ve always been intrigued by The Nest but I can never seem to find it at the bookstore. I’m all about the strange reads so I really want to check it out and see what it’s all about.
