Hey! 🙂
One of my resolutions this year was to not make anymore TBRs throughout the year. I decided to go against that for February, because there are some books that I know that I want to read ASAP and preferably in February. I don’t think I will stray from these books though, so hopefully I don’t fail at a TBR this time around. Goodreads linked. Let’s get into the books!
I did not finish Winger by Andrew Smith, sadly. It’s not that I don’t like it, but more I just haven’t been in the mood to read and when I do want to read, not this type of book. I want to try to finish Winger. This isn’t my top priority though, so it may get left behind again in February. SORRY WINGER! No hard feelings, because I really like you!
I will definitely be reading Cruel Crown (second half, because I already read one of the novellas that is in this book) and Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard! One of my highly anticipated reads and I have been DYING for it! I technically don’t own Glass Sword yet, but it will be delivered to my front door on release day, don’t you worry!
I also plan to read Blonde Eskimo by Kristen Hunt, because it sounds interesting and I am going to California in March and I want to bring it along to get signed by Kristen. I can’t wait to read her book and meet her! It sounds really interesting, so I am hoping that I love it. It’s about Eskimos and Alaska!
I am buddy reading a couple books in February, one of those will be Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I feel like I’ve had Carry On on all of my TBRs ever since it released, lol. I will finally be getting to it in February. I will be buddy reading that with Shelbie at Lu-Lu’s Rants & Reads and Maren at The Worn Bookmark. I am really excited to finally read Carry On and I am even more excited because I will be reading it with them! They are my NinjaOtterSox girls! 😛
I am also buddy reading November 9 by Colleen Hoover with Lauren (Shattered Blue) and I am excited about that one because I’ve heard so many good things about it. I have also been loving Colleen Hoover’s books so far, so you know, I am so stoked for this one! I am so excited to get sucked back into a Colleen Hoover book. Ugly Love (my review) took me on a crazy ugly emotional roller coaster and I want more CoHo!
The last book that I plan to read in February is Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate. I was approved for this eARC from Netgalley and it gets released in March. I think I may start off the month with this one, because I want to get my review up before I leave for California.
I chose seven books, which is kind of being optimistic if I am being honest. I don’t know how much time I will even have in February to read since I need to plan and get ready for my California trip in March. It’s actually in the first week of March, so I have a lot to do in February to prepare! I am super stoked for this trip though and I get to meet Maren from The Worn Bookmark! 😀
What are some of the books on your February TBR? Let me know and link me to your posts!

I am so excited for Glass Sword. I’ll be running home from work on release day so I can start reading straight away! I read Cruel Crown the other day and liked both stories. Enjoy the second one!
I can’t wait until release day of Glass Sword! I’ve been dying for this sequel so much! I plan to start it right away too. I read the first story and enjoyed it, but I plan to read the second ASAP! 🙂
November 9 is definitely on my TBR as well! I loved Carry On and I definitely recommend it! I can’t wait for Glass Sword to come out!
I’ve heard so many good things about November 9! I can’t wait to read Carry On. I’ve also heard so many things about that one too.
I haven’t read any of these books so I can’t wait to hear what you think! Looks like a great TBR! 😀

So excited for our buddy read of Carry On! And I can’t wait for you to read November 9!!
Me too for both! 😀 I’ll probably read my ARC first while I wait for Lauren to be ready for November 9.
I think I will read Maybe Someday first for the Bibliophile Gathering readalong. I need a break from The Knife lol
Sigh. Are you not liking it? I flew through it lol.
I’m feeling kind of eh about it. But I’m to the part where Todd and Viola get to Farbranch so maybe it will pick up. I blame my reading slump lol
😦 breaks my heart. this book and you not liking it, hahaha.
Haha I know! I feel bad that I’m not liking it because you and so many other people loved it. I’m going to take a break from it for a little while and read some of my ARCs that I’ve been stressing about and see if that helps when I come back to it.
Good idea!
