Top Ten Books I’ve Recently Added To My TBR.
Hi 🙂
First off, thank you guys for all the comments on my last post about my blog turning one! I am so grateful for every single one of you. Hopefully I can get around to replying to each comment soon!
I usually do a Friday Finds post, which is showing you what I add to my TBR every week. So it was actually a little bit harder for me to do this post, because I honestly haven’t been looking for many books to add to my TBR lately. Trying to stay focused on the books that I own!
Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler
Heartless by Marissa Meyer
The Loose Ends List by Carrie Firestone
The Memory Book by Lara Avery
It may not (or maybe it is) be a surprise to a lot of you that I really have not been enjoying the Lunar Chronicles. I still want to give Heartless a chance though, because I love Alice in Wonderland and I’m interested to see how Marissa Meyer does this. Also, isn’t the book cover lacking a bit….or maybe A LOT? I was recommended the Dexter series since I loved Jasper Dent so much, so I am very interested in reading that one!
In a World Just Right by Jen Brooks
The Islands at the End of the World by Austin Aslan
The Last Best Days of Summer by Valerie Hobbs
The Weight of Water by Sarah Crossan
They All Fall Down by Roxanne St. Claire
A lot of these five do not have the best ratings in the world, but they all sound really interesting, so I want to check them out for myself. I am hoping I like them more than a lot of other people over on Goodreads have. We’ll see what happens with that. I’ll keep you posted! 😛
You can see more books that I have added to my TBR over on my Goodreads account. Feel free to add me! 🙂 Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think? Let me know and link me to your posts! I may not necessarily NEED to add more books to my TBR, but…I know I want to! HAHA.
I have a couple reviews coming your way in the next week or so; be on the look out for those! I also have a few tags coming up as well. This week is going to be a little bit crazy for me and I can already tell! I apologize if I am not as active as I usually am this week. Hopefully after this week I can get back into the swing of things. I still need to do some MAJOR organizing of my blog and all my posts (upcoming/future posts) and I think because I haven’t done that, it’s just been overwhelming me. That should hopefully change soon! Feel free to check out some of my recent posts linked down below.
One Year Blogiversary. – My blog turned ONE over the weekend! 😀
Random||Never-Ending Reading Slump (& pictures). – A picture post of a bunch of random pictures I’ve been taking all month.
Top Ten Tuesday. – My TTT post from last week of books that I meant to buy in 2015 and never got around to getting them.
I am off to work! I hope you have a great day! 🙂
I agree with you on the Heartless cover. When I first saw it I thought it was a temporary cover or ARC cover. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful but like you said, lacking.
I was hoping it was a temporary cover as well. It looks like it should be, lol! It’s an okay cover, but I just expected more I guess.
Hi! I’m going to add Fixing Delilah to my list. I need to try another Sarah Ockler book. Great list!

Fixing Delilah sounds like such a great book and I can’t wait to read it! Glad you’re going to add it to your list too! 🙂
I haven’t read any of these but I’ve been intrigued by They All Fall Down for a while now! That cover is so creepy and the description “Pretty Little Liars meets Final Destination” sounds amazing hahaha.
It had me at Final Destination, haha. It sounds really good though and I can’t wait to check it out. 🙂
I’ve read a couple of Sarah Ockler’s books, and loved them both. I’m gonna have to add her other’s to my TBR. I also want to read the weight of water. It sounds like it’s going to be a good read! Great Top 10!
My TTT! 🙂
I’m glad you’re going to add it to your TBR too! 🙂 Thank you!
I keep forgetting about They All Fall Down. I love her Barefoot Bay contemporary romances. I need to check that one out. I also think Memory Book sounds so interesting!
I’ve never heard of those contemporary romances. I don’t really read too many romance books though. They All Fall Down sounds so good!
They’re adult contemporary romances. I don’t remember how I found them. They’re set in a resort town. I thought they were fun reads.
Great list! I’ve read They All Fall Down, and it was an entertaining read! 🙂 The Loose Ends List sounds so good, I need to add it to my TBR 🙂
Thanks 🙂 I recently bought a copy of They All Fall Down, so I can’t wait to read it. 🙂
I haven’t read any of the books on your TBR list, but…..congrats on your one year anniversary!

Thank you! 😀
I cannot wait for Heartless! I’ve finally read The Lunar Chronicles (well, still reading Winter), and I absolutely love her writing. Here’s my TTT for the week. Happy reading!
I read the first three books in the Lunar Chronicles, but haven’t really been enjoying them as much as I hoped I would. I am curious about Heartless though! 🙂
Happy Blogiversary! 🙂 My TTT
Thank you! 😀
I’m so excited for Heartless!! I think’ll have a different vibe to the Lunar Chronicles so you may like it better! I haven’t heard of any of these books! The covers are all so pretty! Great list 🙂
I really hope that it has a different vibe than the Lunar Chronicles. Thanks! 🙂
I have to ask: are a lot of these hauled from Book Outlet? Because I see a lot of options here that I either hauled or had also considered hauling LOL.
Cheers,
Joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts.
HAH! Yes! Most were hauled this month, because they sounded interesting. It was also when there were sales going on and I felt like I HAD to get something.
I’m looking forward to Heartless too! And I hate to hear that you’re not enjoying The Lunar Chronicles. I think that sometimes all the hype takes some of the fun out of a book. Congratulations on you one year anniversary!
I think all the hype definitely played a part in me not enjoying it as much. I guess I was expecting something amazing and I wasn’t getting that from the series. I still want to continue with Fairest and Winter though and probably the other novellas. I’m still curious about how it’ll all end. Thank you! 🙂
The only one of these I’ve heard of is Heartless. I must look into the other ones! Great list! 😀 ❤
I hope you find some others on my list that will interest you! 😀 ❤
I’m sure I will! 😉
I’ve read The Weight of Water and it was a solid 4 stars for me! I love books written in free verse and it was a great one! Highly recommend. Plus it’s super quick to read!
Can’t wait to check that one out! I didn’t really know much about it, but it sounded good so I bought it. 🙂
