FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm. *All linked to Goodreads*
Hi 🙂
I haven’t done a Friday Finds post in almost a month, so I definitely have some books to share with you guys! I think I’ll get right into them! You can see more of my TBR list over on my Goodreads account over here and feel free to add me as a friend!
Pull by Anny Riley
The Soultakers by Christina L. Rozelle
Fire in the Stars by Isabella Rogge
The 8th Journal by Nicole Parris
Burning by Danielle Rollins
The Six by Mark Alpert
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
The Great Hunt by Wendy Higgins
Whisper to Me by Nick Lake
Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty
I am so excited for a new year of reading! I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things and these ten books look and sound like some really awesome reads! They all have such amazing book covers as well, so that is also so exciting! 😀
Have you added any new books to your TBR this week? If so, let me know and link me to your posts!
I finally finished Cress by Marissa Meyer and I drew my first book from my TBR this year! I let myself draw two books and the books chosen were A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin and Winger by Andrew Smith. I decided to try them both out and see which one I really want to read. A Game of Thrones is a little intimidating though, so I may end up reading Winger instead. Anyway, so glad it is Friday and now I must get to work!
I hope you have an awesome Friday!
Those book covers are so enticing!
I’ve been interested in reading Winger for a while. I look forward to reading your thoughts on it!
Happy reading! 🙂
These awesome book covers are making it so hard not to want to go buy them all! 😛
Love the covers! Hope you enjoy Game of Thrones! 🙂
Thanks 😀
Yay for finishing Cress and for all the awesome looking finds! 😀 I’m almost finished with Cress..only two chapters left! Finally haha.
Glad to hear that you’re almost finished with Cress! I started reading it back on Thanksgiving LOL! I’m sad I didn’t like this series as much as I hoped. I’m putting Fairest and Winter to the side for awhile and pick them up later on in the year. lol
You and me both! I started shortly after you lol! That’s a good idea to put them aside for now. Move on to something you’ll hopefully enjoy more! 🙂 ❤
Looks like I will be adding new books to my wishlist yet again! 😉 And yay for finishing Cress! A Game Of Thrones is definitely a long read… I’ve read the series up until the fifth book; they’re good, but I cannot seem to read them without reading other books in between. Luckily every chapter is about a different character so it does make it easier to do just that. 😉
Have a great weekend! Here are my finds.
I think when I start A Game of Thrones that I’ll probably be reading other books along with it as well. I don’t know if I like that every chapter is about a different character, lol. That’s my problem with why I don’t really like the Lunar Chronicles as much as everyone else. I don’t like that it switches from person to person and all I want is to read about Cinder. haha.
Ah I’m not sure if you will really like GoT then, because all books switch characters each chapter and sometimes don’t return to the same storyline for a long time… It’s part of what tires me reading this series.
I think I may try out the tv show first and if I like the show then pick up the books.
To be honest, I love the show a lot better than the books! Although they did change some plot twists in the show and I like the book version of what happened better (although that’s well into the second/third season 😉 )
The cover for Fire in the Stars is SO PRETTY! I’m going to have to go look that one up ASAP! Thanks so much for sharing–there are some great picks up there!

I love the cover for Fire in the Stars too! It’s perfect and I am really hoping the book will be as great as the cover is! 🙂
Here’s hoping it is! I know sometimes a cover is gorgeous and the read is just sort of “meh” (at least, from my own experiences) but hopefully this one will be pretty both inside and out!
Great finds this week! I love the cover for Whisper to me, and I’m definitely adding it to my TBR! 😀
Thanks 🙂
So many awesome book covers lately!
