FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm. *All linked to Goodreads*
Hey! 🙂 Happy Friday!
I am super stoked that it’s Friday, because that means no work for two days after today! This week was insanely busy and I ended up working late three days out of four of the days. I don’t think I will be working late today though. I just need to get through today and HELLO WEEKEND!
I have some new adds to my Goodreads TBR to share this week! I actually did look for some new books to add this week. I’ve been slacking on the reading and finding new books. Not this week though as far as new adds go! Here is what I have for you guys!
The Siren by Kiera Cass
Take the Fall by Emily Hainsworth
Blood, Ink & Fire by Ashley Mansour
Reasons to Love a Nerd Like Me by Becky Jerams
Firstlife by Gena Showalter
All the Birds in the Sky by Charlie Jane Anders
The Mystery of Hollow Places by Rebecca Podos
My Kind of Crazy by Robin Reul
Killing Adonis by Joshua Donellan
A Tale of Red Riding: Rise of the Alpha Huntress by Neo Edmund
GIVE ME ALL OF THESE BOOKS NOW PLEASE! They all sound SO good and all of these book covers are so amazing that I really just want to own them all RIGHT NOW! 😀 I am crossing my fingers that I get approved for My Kind of Crazy on Netgalley!
Have you added any new books to your TBR? Let me know and link me to your posts!
Funny story: I was leaving work yesterday and it was pouring down rain. I had my jacket on, but I didn’t have a bag big enough for my book I had with me. So I stopped in the doorway of the office and zipped up my book in my jacket. When I got in the car, the first thing out of the boyfriend’s mouth was “nerd problems”. He seen me trying to zip up my book in my jacket. 😛 He also once called me “Mad-Eye Moody” when one side of my glasses fogged up from going from a cold car to it being super hot outside.
Well, I am off to get some work done. Stay tuned for a picture post sometime over the weekend. I mentioned it in my last post, which is linked over here. It’s kind of an “all-over-the-place” review of Every Day by David Levithan. 😛
I hope you have an great day! ❤
I don’t know how I haven’t come across The Siren before. Thanks for sharing!
Your’e welcome! 😀 I actually at first when I seen The Siren book cover, I thought it was just another novella for the Selection series. I decided to look at it again and realized that it wasn’t! 🙂
Great books, I need to check those out!! I have heard about The Siren, and it sounds like an interesting read, Kiera Cass writes simple yet addicting stories… I hope this one will be like that, too! 😀
Glad you’re going to check some of these out! 🙂 I have to agree about Kiera Cass. Even though I wasn’t a fan of America, the series itself was addicting to read!
I added Blood, Ink & Fire this week as well! And I love the covers of your other finds. 😀 I hope you have a great weekend! And I can totally relate to your ‘nerd problems’. 😉 Here are my finds…
Blood, Ink & Fire sounds so good! 🙂 I need to get my hands on a copy! I’m glad I am not the only one with these nerd problems haha. 😀 I hope you have a great weekend as well!
Those covers are all so GORGEOUS! And there are several here I’m going to have to look up, which is awesome–thanks for sharing!
My Finds: https://betwixtthesepages.wordpress.com/2015/12/04/friday-finds-9/
I love that all the covers are gorgeous, but it makes it really hard not to want to just throw my money at them all right now! haha. 🙂
LOL I understand what you mean! Pretty covers are so hard to resist sometimes; I often want to buy them just to have them on my shelves for the art!
I always love seeing which books you’ve added to your ‘to be read pile’ or wishlist as you add a lot of cool titles, some I always end up adding to my ever growing reading wishlist.
Happy reading and happy Friday!!

Thanks 🙂 Glad you like seeing my finds! Ahhh, my list is ever growing as well. SO MANY BOOKS!
Oh, I’m currently reading Reasons to Love a Nerd Like Me by Becky Jerams 🙂
How are you liking it?
I actually finished it last night and I really liked it 🙂
Did you get the email that Heir of Fire was available on Book Outlet? Now comes the time when I think on whether or not I want to read the ToG series.
I did! And I was tempted to buy it, but I have the first two books in paperback and by time I decided to actually finish the series, the next one will be in paperback lol. I really wasn’t a fan of the first book (and only one I read so far). I still kind of want to get it, because eventually I’m sure they’ll have the others in hardcover when I decide to pick it up again. Ahhhh! Decisions.
The cover for All the Birds in the Sky is on point!! So beautiful. The synopsis also sounds really interesting though I still don’t have a good sense of what it’s about… I can’t wait to see some reviews!
The Siren is one of my recent finds too! I actually saw it on Pinterest! 😊
I seen it on Pinterest as well. I never added it before, because I assumed it was just another Selection series novella lol! I decided to look at it again and realize it’s not! 🙂
Hahah, love that little story of your “nerd problems”. Last night my husband was obviously christmas shopping for me online and kept asking me all these questions about what I prefer for books. It’s cute when your significant other knows how obsessed you are with things 😀
& So many of these books are on my TBR as well! My Kind of Crazy & Blood Ink Fire especially 🙂
oh and Here are my Friday Finds!
I love when he takes notice of little things like that. 🙂 it’s always a plus and points for them! Glad you have a lot of these in your TBR too!
