I was nominated by Giselle @ Hardwork Boulevard for the Book Fangirling Blog Award! Thank you, Giselle! Everyone go check out her blog! She’s awesome and I love her posts and reviews so much!
Below are the five questions that Giselle asked me:
1. What book did everyone like and you hated?
I am going to go with We Were Liars on this one. So many people loved it so much, but I just did not like it at all. It was too boring, too much of nothing going on, and the big reveal of what happened was not worth everything else in the book.
2. Book/s that put you in a ridiculous reading slump.
So I am currently in a reading slump and I am not happy about it! I was so excited for my Halloween TBR and now that I am in this reading slump, I am barely getting any reading done. The book that has done this to me is The Dead House. That book was just not good and was way too boring. It’s also a book that everyone seems to love, but I just did not like it. Now I’m in this reading slump and have no desire to really sit down and get into a book. Sigh. I am hoping I can at least try to get a few more books in my Halloween TBR read though. 3. Name a book you wish more people knew about.
I really wish more people were talking and reading the Razorland series. I loved that series so much, but I don’t think many people have read it or are really talking about it. At least not from what I see myself. It was such a great series.
4. Name a book/s you wish they’d turn into a movie.
I would love to see the Jasper Dent series turned into movies. It was such an amazing series; as I’m sure you guys have seen me write about a million times. I would love to see how it plays out on a movie screen.
5. Favorite booktuber/s?
Some of the booktubers that I watch are Ben from Benjaminoftomes, Sasha from abookutopia, Caz from Little Book Owl, and Regan from PeruseProject.

Haha, I will forever love the Jasper Dent books.
I was considering Enclave a while back but then I dropped it because I thought it wouldn’t be so good, based on its Goodreads rating. Now I may pick it up again!
I luckily wasn’t using Goodreads at the time, so I had no idea what it was rated as when I read it. I really enjoyed the series so much though.
I was so glad I didn’t request the Dead House on Netgalley. 🙂 Thanks for the warning. I don’t want another book on my Kindle that I have no interest on reading. And we have the same fav booktubers! Congrats on the award Ashley!
I think I just went into reading the Dead House with such high hopes and expectations. I seen so many great reviews of it and nothing negative when I went into reading it. Yay, glad we have the same favorite booktubers! They are so great! 🙂

I read We Were Liars when I first started getting back into reading and I thought it was really good. But now that I’ve read so many other books and had time to reflect on it, it really wasn’t that great of a book after all. I mean, the twist was unexpected and came out of nowhere, but I agree that there was so much blahness that happened before we could get there.
I love Caz too! I met her once and she’s just as lovely in real life ❤

I thought the twist was unexpected as well and never seen it coming, but everything leading up to it was just “blehh”. It wasn’t worth the big twist. I have seen other books that sound good, but are compared to We Were Liars and am so hesitant to read them because of that.
