Tag||My Life in Books.

Hi ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s been one crazy week, but it ended on a happy note. Thanks for your comments on my last post about my dog Dax. The X-Ray showed that it wasn’t something really serious and he should be getting better and be back to his normal cute self! So thankful for that, because I don’t know what I would do without my pup.

Anyway! Tag time! I was tagged by the awesome Analee from Book Snacks to do the “my life in books” tag. It looks like a lot of fun, so here we go!

1: Find a book for each of your initials.
+ My initials are A-N-D and here are the books that I found on my bookshelf with those initials!

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
None of the Above by I.W. Gregorio
Denton Little’s Death Date by Lance Rubin

I still haven’t had the chance to read Alice in Zombieland or Denton Little’s Death Date, but I really want to. I have copies of them, so that is definitely a possibility soon! I read None of the Above and loved it.

2: Count your age along your bookshelf- which book is it?
+ I chose to go with my hardcover bookshelf and the 27th book (geez, I’m old!) is A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I really need to read it!

A Darker Shade final for Irene

3: Pick a book set in your city/state/country.
+ The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. I live in Florida and I believe that this book takes place in Florida. I haven’t had the chance to read it yet, but I have been really wanting to!

4: Pick a book that represents a destination you would love to travel to.
+ Virals by Kathy Reichs. I’ve always wanted to go to South Carolina and this book takes place there. I also really enjoyed this book and I may start book two audiobook in October! ๐Ÿ™‚

5: Pick a book that’s your favorite color.
+ My favorite color is pink, so I am going withย Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I recently got the e-book, because it was on sale. I haven’t read it yet, but I may give it a chance sometime.

6: Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
+ Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I love this book so much and it always makes me happy; it’s such a great funย book.

7: Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
+ Endgame: The Calling by James Frey. I didn’t even finish it. I think I mentioned this a couple times, but it was just so hard to get into and you have to remember SO many things. It’s told in multiple points of view. At one point I had to make a note in my phone (I still have it in my phone) of all the character’s names, family name, and their age; some also had some crazy names! It was quite confusing and annoying trying to remember who is who, because sometimes they would talk about other characters in the book by the family name theyย came from and not always their own name! See below my list:

8: Which book in your TBR pile will you give the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?
+ I am definitely going to go with Outlander by Diana Gabaldon on this one. I have it on my TBR and my bookshelf. I really want to read it, but the amount of pages is kind of terrifying, haha. I have it in e-book form too, so maybe reading an e-book version will make it not as intimidating since I won’t be seeing the physical pages? lol ๐Ÿ˜›

This was a fun tag! ๐Ÿ˜€ I am going to tag:

Josie @ Josie’s Book Corner
Emily @ The Diary of a Bibliophile
Anette @ Anette Reads
Maren @ The Worn Bookmark
Alina @ Radiant Reads
Shelbie @ Lu-Lu’s Rants & Reads
Giselle @ Hardwork Boulevard
Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions
Aimal @ Bookshelves & Paperbacks
Kayla @ Bookedsolid1989

And anyone else that wants to do it, please do! I’d love to see your answers! ๐Ÿ™‚ Feel free to ignore if you have already done this tag or not interested in doing it. I think I’ll go read some in my current read (The Water Travelers). I’m almost halfway through it and really enjoy it. I am hoping to finish it this weekend, so Shelbie and I can read Siege and Storm together! I hope you have a great weekend! Bye! โค

  8. I’m so happy to hear Dax will be okay! โค I'm sure it would've been devastating if anything *really* bad were to happen to him. I will be looking forward to your thoughts on Anna and the French Kiss–I've been meaning to read it for a while! Great answers. ๐Ÿ™‚
