FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm*All linked to Goodreads*

Hey!

I don’t think I ever been so glad that it’s Friday as I am today. This has been one of the most stressful weeks I’ve had in such a long time. Honestly, its been a crappy month for me in my life outside of my blog. With my crazy week, I didn’t add too many books to my TBR this week, but here are the ones that I did add.

Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson
Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
Shift by Em Bailey
Once Upon a Time: Red’s Untold Tale by Wendy Toliver

Did you add any new books to your TBR? Have you read any of the ones that I added? Let me know! 🙂

Sorry for this super short post, but hopefully you guys like some of these books! They all sound really good to me and I love OUAT, so Red’s Untold Tale sounds good. Honestly, I have so much going on and its just been a crazy week. A big thing going on is my dog (Dax) is pretty sick, so its been pretty emotional for me. I’m sure you guys have seen how much I love both my cat and my dog. I’m hoping he’s okay and we’re doing all we really can do right now. Today he is getting an x-ray done. I’m crossing my fingers that he’s okay after everything. He’s only 5 years old, so he’s pretty young and I guess I didn’t expect something to happen to him now.

Anyway, enough sadness! I’ll be posting my September wrap up, my September book haul, and my Halloween TBR, sometime next week. I really want to try to finish The Water Travelers and Deathly Hallows before the end of September, so I can include them in my wrap up. I haven’t made much progress in the Deathly Hallows audiobook (it’s 21 hours of listening time!!), because my mind has been elsewhere this week and I haven’t been able to focus on it. We’ll see how that goes though. I think that’s it for me today. I hope you enjoy your Friday! Bye ❤

  1. I understand what you’re going through – I lost my dog to diabetes last month, he was only 8 😦 I’m so sorry Dax isn’t feeling well 😦 I really hope he gets better soon and makes a full recovery!

    • So sorry to hear about your dog. ❤
Even just thinking about losing any of my furbabies is heartbreaking, so I can't even imagine what it must feel like when you actually do. 😦

After getting the X-Ray done and everything, the vet said he should get better soon. So I'm happy it wasn't too serious. It sure seemed that way at first though.
