Hey! 🙂
So I usually do the Friday Finds meme on Fridays, but since I actually didn’t add anything to my TBR this week (*shock face emoji*), I will do an e-book haul instead. These are the ones I got so far this month and I am sure there will be tons more by time the end of the month rolls around. I love getting good deals on e-books! Last month I got about 30 e-books!
Kindle E-Books:
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness
Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness
Messenger of Fear by Michael Grant
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
Queen Song by Victoria Aveyard
Breathe by Sarah Crossan
Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy
Awoken by Sarah Nofke
The Demon in the Wood by Leigh Bardugo
A lot of these are still on sale if you are interested! Also, if you check out the Epic Reads e-book deal page you can get some of these and more for $1.99! I seen that the price for the Chaos Walking series Kindle editions dropped, so I decided to get them. I already read The Knife of Never Letting Go, but I borrowed it from the library, so I decided to get my own copy. I also already read Queen Song, which was a good read.
Netgalley Approvals:
Time to Die by Caroline Mitchel
Firsts by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn
Placebo Junkies by J.C. Carleson
I was approved on Netgalley for these books this month, which is exciting! They all sound like really good reads, so I am excited to read them. I also have two others that I was approved for last month. I am currently reading Time to Die and it’s pretty interesting so far. It has murder, serial killers, and supernatural elements thrown in! I’m not too far in yet, but it’s interesting.
I’ve been doing pretty good with not buying physical books so far this month! I basically just got my preorders (with two more coming Tuesday) and then I bought two others aside from those. Not bad, considering last month I bought close to 40 physical books! I won’t completely praise myself yet though since the month isn’t over and so many awesome books released and being released, LOL! 😛
Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think? Do you know of any other good e-book deals going on? Let me know!
On a random note, yesterday was my cat ColbyJack’s second birthday! I can’t believe he’s already two years old! When I first got him he was so tiny and I didn’t think he would ever go as fast as he did! Sigh. He’s still my baby though and still as cute as ever. ColbyJack birthday picture. 😛
He’s not a fan of hats, so this was the only picture I was able to get.
He’s still cute in it though even if he wasn’t happy about it. LOL.
I hope you have an awesome Friday! It’ll be pretty busy for me today at work, because yesterday was pretty insane for me and I didn’t get all my work done before I left. I’m excited about the weekend though, because hopefully I’ll finish Time to Die. Just in time for Tuesday, because I should be getting Dumplin’ in the mail and I can’t wait to start it! Another of my most anticipated book releases of the year! Anyway, that’s all! Bye! ❤
Ahh… so many good books…!! ❤
Enjoy reading. 😀
Wow! Amazing haul. It’s so easy to spend money on e-books, especially when they are on sale! They don’t take up any bookshelf space and you don’t have to wait for them to come in the mail.
Now I feel the urge to buy an e-book… or two! Lol!
Have a great weekend, Ashley! Happy reading! 🙂
Thank you! I love finding good e-book deals and it’s so hard to pass on them sometimes! I also don’t feel AS guilty since I’m not getting packages and using bookshelf space haha.
I hope you have a great weekend as well, Emily! 🙂
This month just started… RIP credit card indeed.
I keep killing mine over and over again. sigh.
Not that I’d necessarily need it but there was a $17.99 Book Outlet sale of Divergent box set. Even buying it for just FOUR alone (which I haven’t read) would have been a steal. Oh my god.
I seen that and I really wanted to get it, but stock ran out. 😦 I only have the e-book versions and I’ve been dying to get the physical copies. Sigh.
Firsts looks SO GOOD OMG. If I didn’t just put a stopper on requests until I’m caught up I would be all over that. I look forward to your review!
It doesn’t release until January 2016 I believe, so if you do request it you have a awhile before it’s published. 🙂
I meant to tell you the Patrick Ness books were cheap on Amazon! Figures you’d know though 😉 great haul lady!!
I was happy to see that the price went down on them! Thanks! 🙂
Haha you and those E-books!! So many of those book are already on my TBR! I didn’t know about Breathe though, Sarah Crossan is the woman who just published One, which I’ve been eager to read so a dystopian by her should be interesting!! Great Haul!!!!! 📚😄
Hah! I’m way too addicted to getting e-books. Lol. I’ve had Breathe on my TBR for a couple years now, so I was excited to get it so cheap! 🙂 I really want to read One as well. It sounds really good!
Book hauls are always fun (until I realize I have stashed them away to read later and later never comes! :P) But a pretty amazing collection! Have fun reading! And a huge Happy Belated Birthday to Colby Jack who is so cute and adorable! 😀
Hah, that’s so true. Especially with e-books! I’ve had so many for so long now and still haven’t read them! It’s just so hard to pass up on a good deal when you know the price will go back up later. Thank you! I can’t believe Colby is already 2! 🙂
Uhh I wish I had a copy of Dumplin! I’ll have to pick it up once it comes out!
I can’t wait to get it! 🙂
