Hi! 🙂

I’ve been seeing this tag floating around lately, so I decided to do it too! I recently seen it over on Cristina’s (My Tiny Obessions) blog.

1: Best book you’ve read so far in 2015.

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia.

This is such a tough question, because I’ve read so many amazing books so far this year! This is definitely in my top though! It was such a great book. GO READ IT NOW!

2: Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2015.

15790833

Game by Barry Lyga.

I have to go with Game. This book was so damn amazing and you will constantly be on the edge of your seat and constantly shocked throughout. So much craziness.

3: New release you haven’t read yet, but want to.

23315831

Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway.

I am so excited about this book and I’ve been dying to read it. I have a copy of it, but just haven’t gotten to it yet. I plan to get to it really soon!

4: Most anticipated release for the second half of the year.

Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy.

Of course I have to go with Dumplin’! I swear I am beyond excited about this. I’m sure I have said this a million times! Ahhhh, I really can’t wait. 😀

5: Biggest disappointment.

16143347

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

I had such high expectations for this book, but once I read it, it was just so bad for me. I didn’t like it at all. It was such a disappointment for me.

6: Biggest surprise.

After the End by Amy Plum.

This book didn’t have the greatest rating on Goodreads, but it was such an amazing book. My expectations were very low, but I ended up falling in love with it. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

7: Favorite new author (debut or new to you).

18692431

Nicola Yoon.

I am definitely going to go with Nicola Yoon, because Everything, Everything was such an amazing book! I plan to auto-buy every single book that Nicola writes!

8: Newest Fictional crush.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.

My newest fictional crush is Mal from Shadow and Bone. I isntantly fell in love with him and I NEED MORE OF HIM! LOVELOVELOVE HIM! ❤ x23479238749!

I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga.

Hands down, Jasper! He is definitely one of my newest favorite characters. If you read this series, I guarantee you will fall in love with him. I’m so sad the series is over. I need more Jasper in my life. Also, I have to note that Howie is pretty awesome too!

10: Book that made you cry.

19355355

Take Me with You by Catherine Ryan Hyde.

I have to mention this book, because it was such a great book. Five stars from me. I cried throughout the entire book. It was perfect. I really want to reread it.

11: Book that made you happy.

19547856

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.

If Simon vs. did not make you happy, then you are not human! This book was such a great read and whenever I am sad, I think about this book and read through it.

12: Favorite book to film adaptation you saw this year.

117359837631105

Insurgent by Veronica Roth.
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner.

I believe I only seen Insurgent this year, but I really loved it so much! And The Scorch Trials comes out next month and I am so stoked about it! Counting down the days.

13: Favorite review you’ve written this year.

22328546

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.
Check out my review OVER HERE.

I loved this book so much! I also really love my review, because I used gifs of the Tenth Doctor to show my feels throughout this book and they are just SO perfect. Go check it out, you know you want to. 😛 I even linked it above for your convenience.

14: Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year (or received).

21469090

Dream a Little Dream by Kerstin Gier.

I have bought a lot of beautiful books this year, but Dream a Little Dream is definitely one of my favorite covers! I really need to read it. I’ve had it since it was released in April, oops!

15: What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

ALL THE BOOKS!? Okay, so this is a tough question. I have so many books that I want to read by the end of the year, haha. I bought SO many books this year so far, OOPS! I’m scared to even count. Here are some of the ones that I really hope to get to. I choose these because some have been on my TBR the longest and I’m missing out!

11235712105763651345578220821111

Cinder by Marissa Meyer.
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.
The Young Elites by Marie Lu.

Amy (Book Enthral) and I decided that when she reads I Hunt Killers, I will read The Darkest Minds. I believe I will be reading Cinder in October with Josie (Josie’s Book Corner). So these two should be exciting! I’ve been wanting to read Shatter Me and The Young Elites for awhile now too!

This was a really fun tag to do and I really hope that everyone will do this tag too! I would love to see your answers, so if you decide to do it then link me to your posts! 🙂 I have a pretty busy weekend with tons of things to do and an entire apartment to clean, sigh. I hope you have a great weekend! ❤

  1. I might do this one too 🙂 I Hunt Killers was actually one of the first books I added to my TBR on goodreads when I made my account years ago, and I still haven’t read it! I guess I should hahaha.

  2. I can totally agree with Made You Up, The Jasper Dent series, We Were Liars, Shadow And Bone and Red Queen! ❤ I'm also really looking forward to read Dumplin', Everything Everything and Simon & The Homo Sapiens Agenda…. You know I love The Lunar Chronicles so far and the other three are on my need-to-read-soon list as well. 😀

  3. Love this tag! I can’t wait to get my hands on Made You Up. I’ve heard great things. 🙂 and I’m so glad that you liked Mal. Not a lot of people like him, but I thought he was such a cutie! 😀

  4. But The Darkling thooo lol but you s hi would get to Cinder soon cuz Winter comes out I November (: The Darkest Minds was good, though don’t go in with too high expectations. Shatter Me is amazing, especially the last book. The Young Elites is amazing. I didn’t really love the Insurgent adaptation but I’m really pumped for Scorch Trials

    • I started off loving the Darkling lol. I was so excited about him and them I’m like “wait, what!?!” And then Mal said all the right things and I was in love. Hahaha.
I really need to get to reading all of these books ASAP!
I can’t wait for the Scorch Trials! SOON! 🙂

  5. I love love loved reading your answers to this! Nicola Toon is also definitely one of my new favourite authors after her AMAZING debut novel: Everything, Everything.
I’m also very much looking forward to Dumplin’!
Hm.. I might do this tag. Maybe…
    xoxo 💋

    • Everything, Everything was seriously so amazing! I’ll probably reread it when my preorder comes in. lol. 🙂
Ahhh Dumplin’! I want it now!
Can’t wait to see your answers if you decide to do the tag! ❤️

    • Hah! One of the many many times I mention his books. 😛
Yes! Binge read the Grisha series! I technically only read Shadow and Bone though. I do have the second book and plan to read it soon. S&B was so good! Now that the paperback is out for the 3rd book, I’ll probably end up buying it soon and reading the 2nd and 3rd together lol. Anyway, I’m rambling. I hope you read them soon!

  6. You know what they say about not liking the movie if you read the book but Insurgent was an exception. They changed so much on the storyline but still [and surprisingly] I liked it!

  7. I’ve been wanting to read Made You Up! It sounds so intriguing 🙂 Also, yes We Were Liars the hype was intense and I was kind of disappointed 😦 I haven’t read Red Queen either and I know I should! YESSSSSSS go read SHATTER ME ❤ and I'm so excited for Everything Everything ❤

    • I hope you get to read Made You Up soon! It was a great read and I flew through it. I had such high hopes for We Were Liars and I almost didn’t want to finish it. Definitely go read Red Queen! It’s so good! 🙂 I will try to read Shatter Me in the next month or so. I’ve heard so many great things about the series.
