Hey 🙂

It’s Wednesday, which means the week is half over. I am excited about that, because I love my weekends! I figured I would do a WWW post since I haven’t done one in awhile. I’ll just jump right into it.

Currently Reading:

Lucky Day by Barry Lyga
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige

I am halfway done with the last novella for the Jasper Dent series, which is exciting! So far I am really liking it. I am listening to the Order of the Phoenix audiobook, but I haven’t in a few days. I will definitely finish it this week though. I haven’t exactly started The Wicked Will Rise yet, but I should be hopefully today or tomorrow.

Recently Finished:

Blood Boy by Barry Lyga
Neutral Mask by Barry Lyga
Career Day by Barry Lyga
No Place Like Oz by Danielle Paige
The Witch Must Burn by Danielle Paige
The Wizard Returns by Danielle Paige
Heart of Tin by Danielle Paige

My month of novellas turned out to be four days of novellas, because I finished them all in four days (besides the last one I am reading now). I read all the novellas for the Dorothy Must Die series. They were all pretty good except Heart of Tin. That was torture, to be honest. The Tin Man is annoying, so annoying! He acted like a love sick twelve year old girl the entire book. I also read the Jasper Dent novellas, which were pretty good. It was interesting to read about the other characters, but I will forever love Jasper.

Reading Next:

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Blood of My Blood by Barry Lyga

I will definitely be picking up The Wrath and the Dawn after The Wicked Will Rise for the read-along that I am joining. After that will probably be Blood of My Blood. The last book in the Jasper Dent (I Hunt Killers) series. I am so sad to see it end, but I am dying to find out what is going on!!

Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think about them? What are you currently reading? Finished reading? Reading next?
Leave a comment and link me to your posts! 🙂

Do you like retellings? Check out some of the retellings that I read and want to read in my last post over here. I hope you all have an awesome day! I have to get to work, bye! ❤

    • I am actually not rereading them. I’ve never read them before! But I am listening to the audiobooks instead of actually reading them myself. Thanks for linking me to your post! 🙂

  1. I can’t wait to start Blood Of My Blood as soon as I’ve finished Dash & Lily and a pending ARC! I might read The Wrath & The Dawn first since I’m joining the read along as well… Although it’s getting harder and harder to resist the temptation of finding out what happens next with Jazz. 😀

    • I want to read The Wrath and the Dawn early in the month, so I know I have it read for the read along. There are so many books I want to read this month lol. I totally understand about the temptation! 🙂

      • It’s getting really hard to decide what to read first haha, like you I have too many books I want to read this month. I will probably try to read The Wrath & The Dawn first as well for the read along…

  2. I’ve thought about joining the readalong for The Wrath but I want to read ACOTAR first and I have a book to read for review by next week so I’m not sure I’ll be able to participate. But I am really really looking forward to reading it! I think I need to check out the I Hunt Killers series. I’ve never heard of them but they look awesome!

    • I’ve been going on and on about The I Hunt Killers series since July, haha! It’s just SO good! I am obsessed! I’ve gotten so many people to read the series or add it to their TBRs, lol!
I have a lot of books that I want to read this month, so I decided to try to get The Wrath and the Dawn read early in the month, so I don’t miss out.

  3. Glad you enjoyed the Dorothy series. I hadn’t heard of ‘Heart of Tin.’ Is it a newer release? Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

  4. “He acted like a love sick twelve year old girl the entire book.”

BAHA! That actually makes me want to read it just to see how annoying the Tin Man is. And then share it with my 6th graders and tell them not to do that. 😛
