Happy Friday! I am so glad this week is over, because I am tired and I barely got any reading done this week. So I am looking forward to a weekend of catching up on all of my reading. If don’t start reading more, then I will never get around to all of the books on my TBR; like the ones I’m going to show you today!

I am pretty excited about every single one of these books that I added to my TBR this week; probably more than most weeks! They all sound fantastic and the covers are amazing! I can’t get over the cover for Black-Eyed Susans though! After reading the first two books in the Jasper Dent (I Hunt Killers) series, I was glad to find I Am Not A Serial Killer. I love books like that, so I am excited! I was able to get the e-book of Welcome to the Dark House this week; you know, because the eleven other e-books I got this month clearly weren’t enough, lol! I believe it was $0.99, so I couldn’t pass it up. I can’t wait to get to all of these. Now I just need to read more and read faster!

I have some pretty cool and exciting news! I was gifted a $250 Amazon gift card yesterday! Can you imagine all of the things (AKA BOOKS) I could get with $250?! I am pretty excited about it! So excited that I really have no clue what I even want to get, lol. Most of the books I am really looking forward to aren’t released yet, so maybe I’ll save some of this money to cover all of my pre-orders!
I was thinking of possibly getting a Kindle. I read my e-books on my iPad and iPhone and it’s totally killing my eyes. I’m pretty sure it plays a role (I also work in front of a computer for 8.5 hours at work M-F) in why I now have to wear glasses! For two years I was only reading e-books and for five years my job has been working in front of a computer.

Last weekend my internet wouldn’t work the entire weekend, so I wasn’t able to get any done then. Also, my computer has been crappy as always even aside from the internet issues, but hopefully finally getting it fixed this weekend as well.

Wow! That’s awesome you got that gift card! I’d say you should definitely get a Kindle. And you’ll still have plenty of money left over for other books if you do get one. Love that picture of Colbyjack lol. My cat Nika loves to lay on top of tissue paper to hear the crinkle sound lol.
It was so random, but totally awesome! I really am thinking about getting a kindle. I’ll definitely have extra money for books too! ColbyJack likes to lay on top of tissue paper too. It’s so weird how all cats love all these different things, haha. It’s like they all have their own personalities, but they still all love the same exact things (boxes, bags, tissue paper, etc.) haha.
Haha too true! Enzo LOVES boxes. We have a cat tree that has two perch box levels and we put a smaller Amazon box on his and he loves laying in it. Nika on the other hand always has to lay on the level we put this old pillow that Ethan made in middle school on. She is obsessed with pillows. She also loves laying on plastic bags and Enzo loves going into bags of all kinds lol.
Black-Eyed Susans & The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight are both on my TBR, but I don’t think I’ve heard of any of the others! Gonna have to do some Goodreads searching to find out more about them. 🙂 Great finds!

Ashley, that’s a great “gift”! What fun to spend. And yes a kindle paperwhite should help with that, I have spent many hours trying to kill my vision on computer screens and tablets, and the paper white is a great break.

Great finds and what a great gift card! All those book you can buy… I know what you mean about the Kindle; I used to read e-books on my phone and it really tires my eyes… Getting my Kindle was probably one of my best birthday gifts. 😀

Wonderful finds this week! I have an ARC of The Accident Season on my Kindle, and I tried reading it but for some reason it scared me and evoked my anxiety!

In my reader blog roll, I saw the title of your post and then the cat and thought you found a cat, lol. Anyways, I just wanted to say that the cover of “The Tenant” is really freaky.
Well, he was hiding under the tissue paper…so technically I found a cat? lol. Sometimes WordPress won’t use a picture I want as the main picture on the reader, pretty annoying. I have to agree about The Tenant! 🙂
