Hi! 🙂
I hope you all had a good week! It was a pretty busy one for me when it comes to work. I’m so glad it’s almost the weekend! I added tons of books to my TBR this week, so here are just ten of those books. You can always see more of my TBR list on my Goodreads over here.
Th Assassin’s Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke
My Life with the Walter Boys by Ali Novak
Doll Bones by Holly Black
Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn
Streelights Like Fireworks by David Pandolfe
The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner
Alive by Scott Sigler
The Masked Truth by Kelley Armstrong
Armada by Ernest Cline
Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch
These all look like good reads, so I’m excited about them all. There are so many potentially good books and it sucks when you want to read them all and can’t right away! lol. I am loving all the book covers for these books as well. Books with amazing book covers makes it hard not to want to own them all! 😛
I did find this audiobook called My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece by Annabel Pitcher and it’s read by David Tennant! If you don’t know who that is then OMG! It’s the actor that plays the Tenth Doctor on Doctor Who. My favorite Doctor! So of course I am going to listen to this and probably start it today. It sounds like a really good book too, so that’s a plus.
Goodreads Description: “Ten-year-old Jamie hasn’t cried since it happened. He knows he should have – Jasmine cried, Mum cried, Dad still cries. Roger didn’t, but then he is just a cat and didn’t know Rose that well, really. Everyone kept saying it would get better with time, but that’s just one of those lies that grown-ups tell in awkward situations. Five years on, it’s worse than ever: Dad drinks, Mum’s gone and Jamie’s left with questions that he must answer for himself. This is his story, an unflinchingly real yet heart-warming account of a young boy’s struggle to make sense of the loss that tore his family apart.”

Random Talk:
I am currently kind of in a reading slump and I am not at all happy about that. Once I finished Made You Up, I haven’t been wanting to completely jump into another book to physically read. I picked up Paper Towns as my next read, but I only read about 30 pages in two days. 😦 I’m trying, but I’m not in the mood for it I guess. I honestly have no clue what I even want to read! It definitely sounds like a reading slump, sigh. I’ve been listening to some audiobooks and that has been okay; I do get into audiobook reading slumps too though, haha. Strange.
I completed my Goodreads challenge. The second time this year, lol! I have to change the amount of books again. I first had it at 50 books, then 80, and now that I completed 80…I need to change it again! That’s exciting!
I am also currently waiting on a ton of e-books from the library, ahhh! I am so nervous that they are all going to come at one time and I’m nervous since I am in a reading slump. OH NO!
That’s all for this post! Here are a few other posts I’ve done recently in case you missed them and want to check them out:
