Hi 🙂
I know I am super late with doing this, but I was tagged by Zezee from ZeZee with Books and Maren from The Worn Bookmark to do the Disney Book Tag! Definitely go check out their blogs; love them! I also really love Disney, so this is going to be a fun tag!
The Little Mermaid—A character who is out their element, a “fish out of water”.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Mare from Red Queen was definitely a fish out of water. She grew up poor and had to steal to get what she wanted to help her family and herself. She was then taken away from that life and thrown into a life of royalty and had to learn the Silver way of life. She was taken from what she knows and grew up with and put into a situation she had no idea about.
Cinderella—A character who goes through a major transformation.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I really felt that Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower really transformed throughout the book. I was happy when he met Sam and Patrick, because I felt they really helped me break out of his shell and accept everything about himself. Charlie also went throughout as a kid too, but I felt in the end he was able to come to terms with everything that happened to him and he came out a better person.
Snow White—A book with an eclectic cast of characters.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
I loved Miss Peregrine’s so much! There were so many different characters and they were all so different and stranger than the next. It was such a fun read and I can’t wait for Library of Souls.
Sleeping Beauty—A book that put you to sleep.
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
OMG…this book seriously put me to sleep most of the time. I bought the book when it first came out and it took me MONTHS…lots of months just to finish it, because it was just so boring. I couldn’t handle it. Zzz..
The Lion King—A character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood.
I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
Jasper had to grow up with his father raising him and his father happened to be an infamous serial killer! I couldn’t even begin to imagine the horror he had to grow up with being raised by his serial killer father. His dad would teach him all about killing and how to get away with it. He would talk about his murders to Jasper in detail and I’m sure as a kid that would be hard to deal with.
Beauty and The Beast—A beast of a book (a big book) that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful.
Jasper Jones by Craig Silvey
This isn’t actually a big book, but I really haven’t read any really big books that wasn’t over 500 pages (besides City of Heavenly Fire, but as you can see above…that wasn’t a great book to me). I have plans to (like Outlander and A Game of Thrones), but I haven’t gotten around to any. This book really stands out for me though as being a really beautiful story and I really think that everyone should read it if you haven’t yet!
Aladdin—A character who gets their wish granted, for better or for worse.
Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
Simon has been having an email exchange with a boy named Blue and throughout the book he wanted to really meet Blue and find out who he was. He did get his wish! ❤
Mulan—A character who pretends to be something or someone they are not.
Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn
Gemma literally pretended to be someone she was not. She had good intentions though, because she wanted to get her ex-best friend to forgive her for something that she did when they were kids. Such a great book and I really like Gemma.
Toy Story—A book with characters you wish would come to life.
Angelfall by Susan Ee
I just want to be friends with everyone in the Penryn and the End of Days series. I would love to jump into their world and hangout and fight off bad Angels. I think it would be a lot of fun to hangout with Penryn and Raffe. Tweedledee and Tweedledum, they are so hilarious!
Disney Descendants—Your favorite villain or morally ambiguous character.
Alice in Wonderland by Carroll Lewis
I’m drawing a blank with a villain in books I’ve read recently (like over the last few years), but I really like The Queen of Hearts.
As for tagging, I’ve seen that a lot of the people that I follow have done this tag. If you haven’t done this tag, then you are OFFICIALLY tagged by me to do it! Don’t forget to link me to your posts if you do choose to do it! I would love to see your answers, because this was such a fun tag and everyone loves Disney, right?!
And with that…I better go! I hope you all are having a really great day! ❤
Love this tag! I’m also a Disney fan! Maybe I’ll do it on my blog 😉
Yes! I love how you, Stefani and I all chose Simon for Aladdin lol 🙂
He’s the perfect character for it! 🙂
Glad you did the tag! I like how you pair the book’s cover with the Disney covers. I agree with you about Charlie from “Perks…” Oh gosh! What a harrowing childhood for “I Hunt Killers” Jasper! That’s one scary parent.

LOVE this! Disney is everything and when mixed with books… just perfection. Your answers were on point!
Totally agree and thanks! ❤
Wow! I was so engaged with A City of Heavenly Fire! Great choices
xoxo
I think because I was already so bored with the series after book 4, that I just couldn’t take the Shadowhunter world anymore.
It would be totally amazing if Angelfall’s characters could come to life! 🙂 And I definitely agree with Charlie from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. ❤ Cool picks!
RIGHT! I would love to be able to hangout with the characters from Angelfall. I think Charlie was the perfect choice for that one. 🙂
Yes!! It would be totally cute and amusing to see Raffryn in action too! XD And yep, he definitely was!
