I’m currently reading The Shock of the Fall and I honestly have no idea how I feel about it and I’m half way through it. I’m extremely confused and I don’t really like the writing style and I honestly have no clue what is even going on. I feel like I’m missing something. I am currently listening to the audiobook of The Elite and I really like it, although the love triangle going on with America is starting to really annoy me so much.

I recently finished A Court of Thorns and Roses (link to my thoughts at the end of this post) and I loved it so much! I recently finished the audiobook for The Selection and I really enjoyed reading it. I went back and forth for so long on if I even really wanted to read this series, but since the library had the audiobooks, I decided to check it out! I usually go with audiobooks for books that I’m unsure if I want to read or not. That way I can listen to them at work and when I’m not working, I can physically read books that I know that I for sure want to read.

My next audiobook is going to be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I’ve been listening to the entire series on audiobook this year and so far I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to start it and most likely will be today or tomorrow. My next physical read will be Modern Romance, which I am beyond excited about! I’ve been waiting for this book for so long! I also need to read The Flying Circus that I got through Netgalley. I’ll probably be switching between Modern Romance and The Flying Circus.

Here are some posts that I have recently done and then I am off to work! It’s going to be an extremely busy day for me at work today, because I had to leave early yesterday. With my job, the work builds up if I’m not there doing it…and it’s already looking scary! sigh.

That’s exactly how I was feeling when I read The Shock! Unfortunately it didn’t get any better for me. I hope for you it gets better!
I am so disappointed, because it sounded like it would be a really good book. I’m already halfway through it and I really just don’t even know!

I love his comedy too. He’s such a funny guy and I loved his character on Parks & Rec. I am definitely looking forward to reading his book. 🙂

America Singer is the most annoying character ever. You just inspired me to get the first Harry Potter audiobook. They must be good since Stephen Fry is reading them.

OMG, I know! She is starting to really annoy me and she got worse as I started to listen to The Elite. I like the story, but I’m not really liking her. I have this same problem with the Talon series so far too. I love the story, but hate Ember. The audiobooks for Harry Potter are really good! Thanks for linking me to your post! 🙂
I have yet to read The Elite. I can feel myself already hating the love triangle that is to come when I start reading it!

The love triangle is SO annoying and I don’t really like America anymore. I like everything else about the books so far though.
I think The Goblet of Fire is possibly my favourite HP. I’d love to find time to read it again (well, the whole series again). I may have to wait about 6 years until my little boy is old enough for them. 🙂

This is my first time ever reading (well listening for me) these books, so it’s pretty exciting. Waiting to re-read them until your son is older would probably be awesome though, because I’m sure enjoying them with him would be even better! 🙂
That’s too bad about the Shock of the Fall. The Elite is probably the most annoying of the series. The One was the best, in my opinion. Also, Harry Potter! 😀 Here’s my WWW.
I decided to start The One instead of Harry Potter first since I finished The Elite a little while ago and wanted to see what happened next. So far it’s a lot better than Elite was. I could stand America in that book and I still can’t stand her though. The rest of the story is good though. I will definitely be starting the next Harry Potter book after this one though, lol. 🙂

It sucks that I’m not enjoying her character, but I love the story itself though. So at least I’m still able to enjoy the books. I’m currently on The One…I decided to skip over Harry Potter and go with The One first. I’ll definitely be starting the next Harry Potter today though. This is the first time for me reading the HP books. 🙂

Yep, first time for Harry Potter! I’m on the fourth book, but so far the series has been really good and I can’t believe I never read them until now!
