Top Ten Books On My TBR For Summer 2015.
Hi 🙂
There are so many books that I own that I want to get to ASAP! Making this list was kind of difficult because of that. They may not all be summer type books, but, that’s okay! 🙂 Some of these books I’ve had on my bookshelf for awhile and definitely want to get to them soon!
Anything Could Happen by Will Walton
We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
None of the Above by I.W. Gregorio
The Isle of the Lost by Melissa de la Cruz
I tend not to stick to lists as far as reading goes and I sometimes use my TBR jar too, so we’ll see what happens with these books!
What is on your Summer TBR? Are any of these on your list? Comment below and link me to your posts!
Before I go, here are a couple recent posts I’ve done.
I hope everyone has an awesome Tuesday! Bye! ❤
Those last three books on your list! I NEED to read them. Also The Wrath and the Dawn is one I need to pick up soon.
Great list! xoxo
Thanks 🙂
So many awesome sounding books we need to read!!
I think you’ll really enjoy Cinder by Marissa Meyer and The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh!
Can’t wait to read them! 🙂
Great list! I really enjoyed Cinder, but I need to get going on the rest of the series. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you think of these books, some are on my to-read list as well! Just not this summer. 🙂
I’ve heard a lot of good things about The Lunar Chronicles, so I need to read them ASAP! 🙂 thanks!
The Wrath and the Dawn made it onto my list, but I completely forgot about Magonia. That cover is aggressively beautiful and I need to read it immediately.
My TTT.
I lovelovelove the cover for Magonia! I hope the story is as amazing as the cover! Thanks for linking me to your post! 🙂
Cinder is on mine as well! And All the Bright Places was so good!!
I definitely need to get to All the Bright Places ASAP! 🙂
All The bright places rests on my tbr too. hopefully it makes it to my read shelf this year. Nice picks 🙂
Thanks 🙂 it sounds really good!
Well you’re not alone in being a socially awkward bookworm. Lol I love the name of your blog! Cinder is a great read! The second book in this series is actually on my TBR for this TTT. I Really want to read Made You Up and None of The Above, they just seem like such powerful reads!!
Thanks 🙂
Made You Up and None of the Above sound like they are going to be really good! 🙂
I agree with all of these picks! Cinder is seriously amazing, and I’d love to read All The Bright Places soon. I’ve heard fantastic things about it. Good luck!
Thanks! 🙂
I’ve heard so many good things about Cinder, so I definitely need to get on to reading it! I’ve been wanting to read it for two years now. It’s about time I do!
I know the feeling! I have at least 50 titles I want to read ASAP and it’s so hard to pick what to read next! I’ve been using my TBR jar a lot and try to finish challenges first, but still… A lot of these titles are high on my TBR pile as well!
Cinder will be one of my next reads, and Magonia, The Wrath And The Dawn, Isle Of The Lost and None Of The Above I want to read soon as well. I finished reading All The Bright Places earlier this month and while I didn’t enjoy it as much as others it’s still a solid read.
We need more time in the day! Sigh. It is definitely so hard to pick what to read next. I think I’m going to redo my book jar though. I added all the physical and e-books I own in there, but I know some I don’t really see me reading anytime soon. So I think I want to redo it with the books I really really want to read, so they get chosen lol. Like I’ve had all of these on my bookshelf for awhile and haven’t been able to get to them.
Haha that actually might be a good idea! I always pick two papers so I can choose between two titles… But with over 200 papers in there it’s hard to pick those I really want to read ASAP.
I allow myself to pick another one if I don’t like the first chosen. But I think I want to try to read the ones that I really want to read first. So redoing the TBR jar sounds like it would be a good idea.
Yeah it’s definitely a great idea. 🙂
A lot of these choices feel like summer-y books to me though! Well, perhaps I just associate anything that’s close enough to contemporary as being a summer read haha. But hey, at least the lot of these deal with accessible and real issues (not to discount other contemporaries though). And that cover for Magonia? *flails*
Cheers,
Joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts.
In my opinion, I never really understood the concept of reading certain books during certain seasons. I mean, I don’t gravitate to a book depending on the seasons. I just read what I like any time lol. I always see people that do that and I’m just like “I don’t get it, how do you know” lol. Part of buying Magonia was for the cover. I hope it’s as amazing as the book cover!
Moody readers–assemble!
I think there’s just this notion that summer books are things you can take to the beach (but I’m like thinking–why would I take my precious to the beach..?!)
I just finished the Wrath and the Dawn last night, and I absolutely adored it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I’ve been wanting to look into “We Looked Up” for a while now, but I still haven’t read enough reviews to make up my mind, so I look forward to your thoughts. ❤ Happy reading! x
I’ve heard so many good things about The Wrath and the Dawn, so I want to read it really soon. I will definitely do a review on We All Looked Up. I’m thinking of reading it in July. 🙂
I’ll keep my eye out for it! 🙂
Anything Could Happen, We All Looked Up, The Wrath and the Dawn, Made You Up, Magonia and None of the Above are all on my TBR as well! Cinder was amazing, and so was All the Bright Places, I really hope you enjoy them! ❤ Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all these books. Happy reading! XD
I hope we get to all of these soon! ❤ so many amazing sounding books! I can't wait to read Cinder and All the Bright Places. I want to try to do them in the next month or two. 🙂
Yes! These all seem great and I’m itching to get to them. I really can’t wait for you to read them both, they’re awesome! XD
