I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I love books, TV shows, documentaries, movies, etc. about murder and serial killers. If I’m not reading or catching up on my DVR, then my TV always has the Investigation Discovery channel on. So I of course wanted to read (well listen in this case) this book as soon as I read the description. It was so easy to follow along with the story and it was so good! Throughout the entire book I was trying to figure out who the killer was along with Jasper, his friends, and the police. Turns out, I was wrong the entire time and I never would have guessed! It was so fun trying though! Lots of “Oh my gosh” moments and “WHAAAAT!?” moments.

I loved Jasper and his girlfriend Connie and best friend Howie. Jasper had some pretty awesome friends to help him with some of the things he wanted to do. It was interesting getting an idea about how a child was raised by a serial killer. It was also heartbreaking that Jasper had to go through and deal with so much even after his father was arrested. It was really dark at times, but it was an interesting and really good read. I loved the book so much and the surprise ending was crazy! I really can’t wait to get the next book in the series! I’m disappointed that my library doesn’t have it 😦

I definitely recommend this book and especially if you’re into this type of thing; and mysteries and thrillers. It was so good!

I sadly didn’t do as many posts as I wanted to do, but I still have some tags I need to get to. Hopefully soon! I’ve been distracted with either reading or TV. Hannibal returned!! And I mentioned before how I’ve been obsessed with Orphan Black and have been watching that. Next Friday Orange Is the New Black returns, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be binge watching that. I actually told my boyfriend that he better ask for the day off work, because I would be watching it without him if he didn’t. 😛

I do have some exciting news…I reached 200 followers and I am so excited about it! 🙂 Thank you all for being amazing and following me and liking my stuff! It’s been so fun having this blog and being able to share my love for books (and other things) with you all! I’ve met some really awesome people through doing this blog and I’m excited about all the people I will continue to meet! ❤
