FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Hey! 🙂 I am so glad that it is Friday, because I am beyond exhausted this week! I’ve been staying up late and then having to get up early for work. It hasn’t been very fun. Below are some of the books that I added to my TBR this week and I will also be sharing some other books I got this week too (physical & e-books). All linked to Goodreads down below. Shall we get started?
The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes by Anna McPartlin
The Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver
Flawed by Kate Avelynn
Starters by Lissa Price
Departure by A.G. Riddle
Lock In by John Scalzi
In Her Shadow by Louise Douglas
Absent by Katie Williams
So those are the ones that I added to my TBR this week and they all sound like they’ll be good reads. Below are the two that I got for Kindle and they were free and still free as of right now. Free is always awesome!
Blood Faerie by India Drummond
The Purgatorium by Eva Pohler
On Wednesday night, the boyfriend and I decided to take a random walk to the Goodwill that is right down the street from our house. I found these books and got them all for $6, which was pretty good. I didn’t find as many books as I thought I would, but I am happy these that I did find.
Dreamcatcher by Stephen King
How the Light Gets In by Louise Penny
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I read Miss Peregrine, but I only have the e-book version, so when I seen it I had to get it. I also read Alice, but I had to have it! What are some of the books that you found this week? Or link me to your post! 🙂
Lately, I’ve been doing tons of tags, memes, and book hauls (which I love doing) but hopefully soonish I can start doing more reviews. I’ve been kind of slow at reading the last couple months. Also, the majority of the books that I do finish, I haven’t been doing reviews on. I’ve read (and listened) to tons of awesome books so far this year and I should have shared my thoughts more on those besides the few sentences I usually do for end of the month recap posts. I’ve read (and listened) to 49 books so far this year and I’ve only done maybe 12-15 reviews. I think I’ll be changing that up a bit and do more reviews on more books that I finish. Expect more reviews coming soon!
Anyway, that’s all I have for this post! I hope everyone has a great weekend and if you want you can check out some of my other posts from this week linked below.
- WWW Wednesdays # 7.
- The Beautiful Blogger Award.
- Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award.
- A book with a color in the title. – Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Bye! ❤

Happy reading!
Nice little book haul! I’m jealous you live that close to somewhere with cheap books! This reminds me, I still need to do the blog award you tagged me for lol 🙂
I love that I live close by a Goodwill, but it could also be danger. Haha. I want to check it out every day.
Great finds! I love the cover for Starters and Lock In! Here’s my FF.
I am such a sucker for a good book cover! 🙂
Great finds and mini haul! The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes sounds like a good read. I’m adding it to my TBR! Have a great weekend, Ashley! 🙂
Glad you’re adding it to your TBR. It doesn’t sound like it’ll be good! 🙂 Thank you and I hope you have a great weekend too!
Wow, nice book haul!! I want to read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs and it has been on my reading wishlist for months now.
Here’s a link to my Friday Finds post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2015/05/friday-finds-80.html
Happy reading!!
Thanks 🙂
I really hope you get to read Miss Peregrine soon! It’s such a great book! Thank you for linking me to your post, I will definitely check it out.
I still need to do your last award! Ah! I am behind…I need to do a review for World After & I should have done one for Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac…blah. I get lazy when it comes to getting my laptop out. Good book haul and you always find so many good ones to add to your TBR! I am slacking.
Can’t wait to see your review for World After. I swear this is like the best series in so long! Like a series I absolutely fell in love with since probably the Divergent series! I’ve become kind of lazy when it comes to reviews too or else out of the 50 books I’ve read/listened to this year so far I would have more than 12 done! lol.
Great finds this week! And I love your haul at the Goodwill, such pretty covers! 😀
Thanks 🙂
The covers were definitely a little bit why I got them. hah. They do sound really good though.
That’s a great haul for just $6! Here’s my FF! 🙂
Isn’t it? 🙂 I love thrifting for books! Thanks for linking me to your post! I’ll definitely check it out.
