Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
5 out of 5 stars.
Red Queen was such a fantastic book! I loved it so much and I got through it pretty quickly! It was great from beginning to end and it kept my interest and attention throughout the entire book. I loved the whole concept of the book and idea between the Silvers having these special powers. There so many different powers and it was pretty crazy and cool. Mare was a really great character and I loved her so much. I was kind of off and on with my feelings about Maven and Cal. There were a lot of twists and turns, which was great. I’m still so shocked at how the book turned out! It made me so angry at times, because I had no clue what was going to happen and what happened definitely made me angry. I was pretty much saying “what?” “are you kidding me?” “noooo” throughout. Ahhhhh! I was just so shocked! I definitely recommend that you read Red Queen if you haven’t already. It’s a really awesome book and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! I am so excited to see how this plays out in future books! I am dying for more!
Here were my feelings throughout the book…

Goodreads Description: The poverty stricken Reds are commoners, living under the rule of the Silvers, elite warriors with god-like powers. To Mare Barrow, a 17-year-old Red girl from The Stilts, it looks like nothing will ever change. Mare finds herself working in the Silver Palace, at the center of those she hates the most. She quickly discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy Silver control. But power is a dangerous game. And in this world divided by blood, who will win?
Have you read Red Queen? If so, what did you think about it? What is a book that you read with a color in the title?

ADORED your gif-age in this post! I’m still really undecided whether to read The Red Queen but this makes it sound really awesome!!
I’m actually a little tempted to buy it for the cover alone, it’s gorgeous. 😀
Thanks 🙂 I thought these gifs worked perfectly for how I felt about the book! I definitely really loved it and I read it pretty quickly! I love the cover! At least I really did only buy it for the cover. I mean, it did sound good, but I also didn’t read it right away when I got it. I love the cover though, so gorgeous. ❤
