FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Hi! 🙂 Happy Friday!
I hope you all had a good week! I am so glad the work week is almost over! I am super excited about tomorrow, because the boyfriend actually has a full Saturday off with me! That’s pretty rare and we are going to take Dax to the dog park and maybe go to the Museum of Discovery and Science!
“Spend a day of discovery exploring two floors of fascinating interactive exhibits at the Museum of Discovery and Science!” —- YES PLEASE! 🙂 Hopefully that works out and we get to go. I always go to concerts at a venue that is right next to this museum and I’ve been dying to go. It’s only about 20 minutes from our house, so it’s super close.
Anyway, ready for some books? They will all be linked to Goodreads.
Night Chill by Jeff Gunhus
Dead Boys by Gabriel Squailia
Windchaser by Krissi Dallas
The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
The Iron Trial by Holly Black & Cassandra Clare
Wings by Aprilynne Pike
The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith
The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury
As always, I am excited about all of these. They all sound really interesting and like really good books. I really hope they are! I really hope I actually get to them one day, haha. My current TBR on Goodreads is at 351 and that’s not counting the books I haven’t added to the list that I own. YIKES! I need to start reading faster, lol. Below are books that I got for my Kindle and also a book I got from Netgalley (which this month I have a couple that I need to read).
That Risen Snow by Rob E. Boley
Flypaper by C.K. Vile
The Hangman’s Daughter by Oliver Potzsch
’89 Walls by Katie Pierson
That Risen Snow I got for free for Kindle; Snow White plus zombies…YES PLEASE! Flypaper I also got for free for Kindle. The Hangman’s Daughter I got for $2 for Kindle. ’89 Walls I got on Netgalley to review. I am really looking forward to all of these books!
As always I added a ton of books, because I can’t control myself as you can see. I have no control when it comes to books. Example: I found out the book for the book club for May, so I decided I would order it on Amazon. The paperback was about $6…PERFECT! Then creeps in my no control and I ended up adding three more books to my cart and my $6 turned into a little less than $50…so there’s that. No control, SEE?! You really don’t even want to know how much I spent on books as a whole JUST in April…like you really don’t even want to know. Collectively I bought 34 books (physical and e-book) in April. It could be more, but from what I can remember it’s about 34 books and I got like over 20 for free with Kindle this month. 50+ books in April, lol! Anyway…let’s not talk about how crazy I am. Hah.
What are some of the books you added to your TBR list? Link me to your post or leave a comment! 🙂
I hope you all have a great Friday and if you are interested, here are some other posts I’ve done this week.
April reads recap probably Sunday, so be on the look out for that! I am off to work now, bye! ❤
I got That Snow Risen too! Haha free is for me!
I love free, lol. 🙂
The Museum of Discovery and Science sounds like a great way to spend your Saturday! 😀 I love your new finds; I have The Iron King and The Iron Trail already on my TBR shelf and some of them are on my wishlist as well. Have a great weekend! 🙂
I can’t wait to go! I rarely do much lately, so it’ll be exciting to get out of the house for a day. I am really excited to read them! Can’t wait to see what you think about them. I hope you have a great weekend too! 🙂
Great finds! 🙂
Thanks, Emily! 🙂
Hope you enjoy your time at the museum, it sounds like it will be lots of fun. 🙂 And these books look amazing, great finds! ❤
Thank you! 🙂 I’ll post some pictures of the museum trip for sure!
No problem! Can’t wait to see them! 😉
Stopping by from Friday Finds–Have you ever read the quote “If I get a little money I buy books . . . and if any is left I buy food and clothes” ? I can relate to it all too well–and it sounds as though you might, too! 🙂 Hope you enjoy ALL your books!
I have seen that quote around and that is definitely me, haha. I’m glad I’m not the only one! I really do choose books over everything, lol. Thanks!
