I am a little over 100 pages into Red Queen and I am really enjoying the book so far. I think it’ll be a book that I can easily fly threw. I just started House of Secrets and I am not exactly sure how I feel about it yet. I have high hopes for it though and I am not sure if that scares me or not. I don’t want a let down! I guess we’ll see how it goes!

Recently Finished:

1733182816034235

I did individual posts for each of these books and I will link them at the end of this post in case you want to check out more about them and my thoughts. A quick thought about each though: Talon, I really enjoyed reading; great book and excited about Rogue. Throne of Glass, it took me a VERY long time to get into the book and for that I didn’t really enjoy it as much. I had high hopes for Throne of Glass and it sucked when it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be or as great as everyone I’ve seen think about it.

Reading Next:

12000020

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. This was the book chosen for the May read for the book club I am in (Bloggers’ Book Club). I am really excited about reading this book, because it sounds so good! I ordered the book yesterday, so I am impatiently waiting for it to be delivered…along with a few other books. I don’t have an audiobook set for listening to next yet. I haven’t looked, but I have a few on hold at the library and crossing my fingers they become available soon.

What are you currently reading? Finished reading? Reading next? Or link me to your post!

Sometime over the weekend I’ll have my recap post up with all the books I’ve read and listened to in the month of April. That’s always exciting!

Here are some of my other recent posts in case you missed them and want to check them out!

Off to work for me! I hope everyone has a great day! ❤

  1. I hope you enjoy ‘Aristotle and Dante.’ I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews about it. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

  2. I’m new here! I’m going to do this WWW Wednesday it seems fun 🙂 Also I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like Throne of Glass. I didn’t even finish it and never have plans on picking it back up. My expectations were far too high.

    • Hello 🙂
I’ll definitely check out your post.
It actually look me 250 pages to actually get into it! The last 150 pages were great…but the fact that it took me so long to actually get into it was not! I had high expectations for it as well and I think that’s what made it even worse.

  3. I loved Red Queen and House of Secrets! I still have to read the second book to the House of Secrets. Aristotle and Dante is probably one of my favorite books! It just a really great book. Here’s my WoW.

  4. Yay for Red Queen! It’s definitely a book that makes you want to keep on reading… It’s a shame you didn’t enjoy Throne Of Glass that much, but then again it was my least favorite of the series so far. Aristotle And Dante sounds like such a great read! I have had this title on my wishlist for ages, but somehow I’ve never actually gotten myself a copy of it. I’m looking forward to be hearing your thoughts on that one! 😀

    Happy Wednesday! Here’s my WWW.

    • I took me so long to get into Throne of Glass. I loved the last 150 pages of the book and made me definitely want to continue to series. It just sucked that it took me 250 pages just to start enjoying it. Everyone says the next book is so much better. So hopefully I like it! I’ve never heard of Aristotle and Dante, but since it was chosen for the book club it’s the next read and I’m glad, because it sounds really good. 🙂

      • I remember it took me a while to get into Throne Of Glass as well, so you weren’t the only one… Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the sequel better! 🙂

  5. I heard so much about Red Queen, I definitely need to read it, too; I’m very curious about it, I can’t wait to hear your final thoughts about it! 🙂
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe seems like such a great read, I think I’ll add it to my TBR ! Thanks for the discovery! 😀

    • So far it’s really great and I will definitely be making a post on it once I finish. I’ve never herad of Aristotle and Dante until the book club, so I am excited about it. It sounds really good. I’m glad you’re adding it to your TBR too! 🙂
