FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Hey! 🙂 Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had a good week! The week seemed to drag for me, but it was good nonetheless. Here are some of the books that I found this week that I added to my TBR. They’ll all be linked to Goodreads, so you can check them out.
Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider
Hold Me Like a Breath by Tiffany Schmidt
Anything Could Happen by Will Walton
Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood
The Novice by Taran Matharu
The Silver Star by Jeannette Walls
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
In the After by Demitria Lunetta
Black City by Elizabeth Richards
After the End by Amy Plum
Below are some of the free books that I added to my Kindle, thanks to BookBub; WARNING: addicting and dangerous. I added about 17 free books to my Kindle this week!! YIKES! Here are three of the books that I added to my Kindle and as of right now, they are still free!
Everflame by Dylan Peters
Dying for a Living by Kory M. Schrum
Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic by Meghan Ciana Doidge
What are some of the books you added to your TBR list? Link me to your post or leave a comment! 🙂
This weekend I am really going to try my hardest to finish Throne of Glass or at least most of it. I do like the story so far, but I am only a little over 100 pages in. I am kind of having trouble getting myself to read it though. I do like it, but I guess I am not in the mood for this type of book. It’s for the book club, so I am going to try to read half of it at least, so I can participate in the group chat. Maybe finishing Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda will get me to get more into Throne of Glass; they are two completely different books, so WHO KNOWS!? I guess we’ll see how things go! I am totally in love with Simon vs. though and I’m not even that far into the book yet! You all should definitely add it to your TBR if you haven’t already!
That’s all for this post, I have to get to work! You can check out some of my other posts from the week below:
- Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock – A book by an author I’ve never read before.
- Teaser Tuesdays #1 & Stuff – A small glimpse of Throne of Glass and some pictures.
- Friday Finds #9 & Kindle E-books – The books I added to my TBR last week.
See you guys later! ❤
This is so good! I’m always looking for new books to read! Will definitely be checking some of these out! Thank you 🙂
Thanks 🙂 I hope you find some that you love!
Oooh these seem interesting!! I read Black City, it was really good. 😄 Love your picks, definitely gonna check them out. ❤️
Thanks 🙂 I hope you find somet that you end up loving! I can’t wait to read Black City.
I’m sure I will! I hope you enjoy Black City! I think I’ll be doing a review on it soon, let me know your thoughts on it when you finish it, it would be interesting to compare our opinions. ❤
So many gorgeous covers! It’s hard to decide where to start and I’ll probably end up adding most of them lol. I loved reading The Glass Castle (Jeannette Walls) last year, and I really should read more of her work soon.
And I hate it when it happens that you’re simply not in the mood for a book! It could help reading another one first, like the novel you are reading right now. I normally just do that; switch to a different book and return to the other later… I’m having this problem with A Tale Of Two Cities right now; I’m not in the mood for a complicated classic, but on the other hand I really want to read it… Kinda frustrating haha. I’ve somehow not added Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda until now, so I took your advice and added it straight away. 😉
I am in love with all the covers. It makes it hard not to want to just buy every single book! lol.
I think I am going to finish Simon vs. and then go back to Throne of Glass. I don’t want to end up hating the book, because I wasn’t in the mood to read it. I want to fully enjoy it the right way, if that makes any sense. I’m glad you added Simon vs. to your TBR! 🙂
It does make sense, I always feel the same when I’m not in the mood to read a book… That’s the reason why I still haven’t continued A Tale Of Two Cities.
Ha ha I totally agree with you, BookBub is totally addictive! 😀 Great choices, I’m going to have to check these out! ❤
Kindle Freebies really are the devil! I have like 150 of them! Hardly read any of them too! =/
I have so many unread too! I can’t help but get them though! Maybe one day we can both get around to reading them!
No kidding! I actually just published a review of Throne of Glass, so check that out if you want! It was a really good book, but you’re right, you have to be in the right mood, because there are a lot of things to consider as the plot unfolds. Hope you like it!

I’ll check out your post, thanks 🙂
Awesome! 😉 Happy reading!
