FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Hey! 🙂 Happy Friday!
Another week gone by and another set of books added to my TBR list. I also have some more Kindle e-books that I got this week to share with you all too! I think this week I went a little crazy with adding a lot of books, so I am only going to share 10 of them. I found a lot on Pinterest this week and last week and I finally decided to go through my book board again and add to Goodreads. I haven’t even tackled the pins that have multiple books on them to see if I will like any of those. I am kind of scared of those right now, to be honest. Hahah. Maybe one day. I think I should probably focus on what I have right now, lol. Anyway, onto the books I found this week! **all linked to Goodreads**
Things I Can’t Explain by Mitchel Kriegman
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
Dream a Little Dream by Kerstin Gier
The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough
Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Grandall
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
Orphan’s Inheritance by Aline Ohanesian
Iluminati by P.J. Webb
Love in a Time of Monsters by Teresa Yea
Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman
I am really excited about all of these, especially Things I Can’t Explain and Magonia. One of the bloggers that I follow made a post about Things I Can’t Explain and basically…do you all remember Clarissa Explains It All? It’s a re-imagining of that! It follows her in her twenties. I am totally excited about it and it’s supposed to be released in September of this year!
I am excited about the other books too, because they all sound like they will be really great reads and all the covers of the books are so pretty! It’s hard not to want to buy and read them all! Hah. I am a sucker for a good book cover!
Below are some of the Kindle e-book I got for free this week. I’ll only share three of them (and then one of a book that I really love and is free), because I added quite a few.
Perception by Lee Strauss
The Annihilation of Foreverland by Tony Bertauski
Evensong by Krista Walsh
The Mind Readers by Lori Brighton
I took a break from looking at free Kindle books for awhile and last week I started to do it again. YIKES! lol. BUT FREE! Anyway, these are some of the books that I found this week that were free and as of right now, they are still free! I haven’t read any of these yet (except one), but I’m sure I will eventually. I have read The Mind Readers and I thought I would share this book with you all, because I LOVED THIS SERIES SO MUCH! I read it a few years ago and it is definitely one of my favorite series and since the first book is free, you should totally check it out! The second and third book in the series is $2.99 and the fourth book is $0.99! Super cheap and in my opinion, it was such a good series. 🙂
What are some of the books you added to your TBR list? Link me to your post or leave a comment! 🙂

I hope everyone has a great day and weekend! 🙂 I am off to work and then I plan on taking a much needed nap when I get off work. Bye ❤
I loved The Looking Glass Wars! Even my husband (a semi-non-reader) read it and liked it. You’ll have to tell me what you think!
I am really looking forward to reading it. I will definitely let you know!
I love your finds. I need to check some of them out. 🙂
I actually just bought the Foreverland series by Tony Bertauski. The set of three was $1.24! Pretty awesome. I can’t wait to read them. 😀
You definitely should! 🙂 That is really cheap for all of them! I love how Kindle has cheap books.
The Looking Glass Wars sounds interesting!! Here’s my Friday Finds for the week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2015/04/friday-finds-78.html
I am really excited about reading it! Thank you for linking me to your post! 🙂
I want all the books on your list, lol! They look so good! Here’s my FF.
I am really excited about all of them, lol. Thanks for linking me to your post!
I see so many gorgeous covers that it’s hard to decide where to start! I will definitely follow your advice and add The Mind Readers to my TBR, and I’ve just downloaded Evensong as well. 😀
lol and I think that’s what also makes it so hard to choose what to read next! Hah. I’m glad you’re going to get The Mind Readers! I hope you like it as much as I do! 🙂
So true! I really have no clue what to read after the titles I’ve already picked… I guess I will have to start using my TBR jar more often. I actually had to make a bigger one because I couldn’t fit in more titles haha.
I already have to add like 100 more to mine. Lol! This is so stressful!! lol
Haha I know how you feel! It took me a whole afternoon to update my TBR jar… And I’m trying to add my new additions straight away so I don’t forget to do it later on. 😉
I should have added them straight away too. Oops! lol
I remember Clarissa Explains It All. That was a cute show. A re-imagining of that show is an interesting idea.
I agree that when I check out Kindle books it is so easy and tempting to buy too many!
My FF post is up on my blog. Just click my Twitter link to get to my blog. For some reason WordPress hates me and won’t let me post links. 😦
Have a great weekend.
