FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by A Daily Rhythm.
Hey! 🙂 Happy Friday!
I was debating on if I was going to do this post or not, since the Top Ten Tuesday was about books that I recently added to my TBR list. I haven’t added too many since that post, but I figured I would share some of the ones that I have since that post. There will be a link to that TTT post at the end of this one, so you can see more if you like. Also, all books are linked to Goodreads.
Immaculate by Katelyn Detweiler
The Unquiet by Mikaela Everett
We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach
The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas
The Wizard of Dark Street by Shawn Thomas Odyssey
Let’s Get Lost by Adi Alsaid
All of these books sound like they could potentially be really amazing reads and I am excited about all of them. I also love all the covers of the books. My Goodreads TBR list is currently at 277, but that doesn’t count the probably 100+ that I haven’t even added to Goodreads! Kind of insane right now, yes? It’s forever growing and I am pretty sure that will always be the case.
I say this a lot, but….so many books, so little time.
One of my favorite bloggers on here did a post about books she got on Kindle and about a website called BookBub. It’s been awhile since I’ve browsed the free books on Kindle, so I decided to look at some of the ones that BookBub showed were free this week and I found seven books that I liked. I probably could have looked for hours and got a bunch more had I not been at work. I took a short break to check out the website. Anyway, here are 3 of the 7 that I got.
Andromeda by Amy Bartelloni
The Arch of Avooblis by Charles Streams
Rippler by Cidney Swanson
Once again, amazing book covers! I remember when I first started to use Kindle, I would spend hours looking for free books and also buying so many books. You can’t beat cheap books! I also found some of my favorite books through Kindle by getting a free copy. Most series will offer the first book in the series for free and the next books in the series are usually $0.99 to $2.99. HELLO?! That’s pretty awesome!
Just in case you missed them, here are a few recent posts I’ve done:
- March Reads Recap: All the books I read and listened to in March.
- Top Ten Tuesday: Books that I recently added to my TBR list.
- Friday Finds from last week.
Off to work for me; it’s going to be pretty busy today. Tomorrow is the Taking Back Sunday concert though and I can’t wait! They are playing with The Menzingers and letlive. I’m so excited! I hope everyone has a great Friday and a great weekend! I wish I had a picture to share (since I usually post some at the end of my posts), but I think I posted all the ones I’ve taken this week. You can add me on Instagram if you like though: heyyitsashley.
What are some of the books you added to your TBR list? Link me to your post or leave a comment! 🙂

Immaculate looks really intriguing! Great finds. Here’s my FF: http://darcysbookblog.com/2015/04/03/friday-finds-april-3/
Thanks 🙂 and thanks for linking me to your post!
Thanks for the Bookclub link! My poor TBR list will suffer once more… 😉 Let’s Get Lost and The Burning Sky have been on my wishlist for a while now, although I’ve never actually bought a copy just yet. The Unquiet sounds good too!
I had to force myself to close the BookBub page after I realized I already added 6 new titles to my kindle… That site is dangerous! 😉
I agree with it being dangerous, lol! I was at work when I checked it out, so I had to stop myself or I would have never gotten my actual work done. I thought I added seven books, but I went back to look at my Kindle and I got ten! LOL! I am scared to go back on the website. haha. 🙂
Haha I can totally understand that! I was adding new books instead of packing for my weekend away with my hubby tomorrow… I think I will leave my next visit for when we come back next week. 😉
I hope you both have a great weekend! 🙂
BookBub sounds like a danger to my harddrive space. 🙂 Not that my e-book collection isn’t already bursting my computer at the seams. Funny though, I don’t feel the pressure to read read read and “clear off” the virtual shelf at all. Which is nice but is also new for me. I always feel motivated to read paper in part by the desire to make it to the bottom of my to-read pile.
Anyway, thanks for sharing all those thoughts and books. My finds list lives here if you’re interested: http://www.bookpunks.com/keeping-track-of-books-acquired-is-fucking-impossible/
It might totally become a danger to your hard drive, lol! Just a warning! 🙂 I totally feel the same way as you do. I have so many e-books, but I never feel like I have to get to them. My growing physical books though, that is an entirely different story. I start to feel guilty if I buy them and not read them. I think it’s more because I physically have to look at them every day. At least with my e-books, I just shut off my iPad or my computer and they are gone for the time being, lol.
Thank you for commenting and linking me to your blog! I’ll definitely check it out!
